I heaved a sight of relief as I fixed my gaze on the woman in front of me.I let out a nervous smile feeling uncomfortable with the way she was starring at me.

My time was up.Just a few more minutes to get the reviews on my products.A few weeks to sign a new deal.

Jerking my eyes up,my eyes meet with the secretary’s gaze.There is a knowing look in the way she nervously smiles at me as I just fiddled with my fingers.

Yes I am I replied getting up and releasing a breathe I didn’t know I was holding.

If the tables were turned because of something the other woman did then it could be really over for the company.

The inside of the conference room is just as big as I predicted but I don’t get a chance to look around as my products came flying from across the room followed by a crashing sound of the glassware.

My feet freeze to the ground but my betraying body bent down to pick up the broken glasses.

What the heck is this! I asked pointing at the secretary but she pointed in another direction prompting me to look up.

I looked up to see the other woman giggling and taking a sip of what I assumed to be white wine.

‘No,no,no.”You did not just do that i said glaring daggers at her.

I think I just did she replied.

I walked over to her and gave her a hug.I grabbed a handful of her hair and whispered ‘I will make him fall for me and throw you out of his life.

Good luck trying to do that she whispers back while I pushed her away.

I grabbed my bag and walked out of the hall.There goes the contract.

Secretary Kim offered to drive so I let her do it without a thought.She dropped me at my old apartment and she went her own way.

I made some noodles and took a cold shower.I tried to sleep but I just couldn’t fall asleep I felt like a piece of junk who had no control over her own life.My staff had worked so hard this few months to come up with a good plan and price friendly products.Don’t even get me started on the sleepless nights.

I sent Diane a text and got ready to go back my husband’s house.The drive back there was so slow due to the traffic.

There was no one home by the time I arrived,the lights were already out and the helper already left as well.I put on my phone’s touch,grabbed a bottle of water and went into my room.I forgot to clean up this morning due to excitement.

The proposals and draft plans were all scattered on the bed.The skin care products looked as tho they had been tampered with.Who could’ve come into the room while I wasn’t here,whoever it was I just hope they didn’t apply this since it was just a sample.

I wanted some chips after cleaning so I went to the kitchen and switched on the lights.Suddenly the lights went out completely.

I couldn’t see anymore.Everything around me has disappeared.The only thing I’m able to distinguish is the table top where the chips were.

My eyes released a stream of tears as I went into panic mode while trying to find my way around.How could so many things go wrong today.

Lily run,get out of here a voice said in my head. I tried to make a run for it but I hit my head on the wall and knocked some things over.The sound of the fallen objects echo in the house and I can feel the air slowly leaving my lungs.

I tried to steady myself while holding my head with one hand and trying to feel the environment with another.

My eyes kept releasing streams of tears as I crashed into a wall of muscle and warmth.
