CHAPTER 8

Two weeks later jenny was still on coma. Freedom went home to freshen up and when his father saw him, he yelled at him, "freedom do you know the meaning of what you are doing, your wedding is coming up, we are supposed to be in China by now but you're there wasting our time here all because of jenny". Freedom told his dad that he can't leave jenny just like that, then his father said, but you are getting married to kira. Freedom spoke loudly to his father that he's not going to marry kira again. His father was shocked to hear him say that then he slapped him. Kira was actually hiding behind them and was listening to freedom and his dad. She wanted to come out after Mr Harrison slapped freedom on his face, but later stepped back when she heard freedom say he don't love her that her lies are behind all that happened to jenny.

Mr Harrison shined his eyes and hold freedom's two ears and said to him, "son don't you get it, kira's family will end up making us a fortune, more richer than we've ever dream of". Kira felt bad and angry when she heard Mr Harrison say so.

She went to her room feeling angry and disappointed, so she called Tracy and told her everything that Mr Harrison planned all this just to get her father's money and also told her that freedom don't love her. She couldn't tell her dad cause she still love and want freedom at all cost, so if she dares talk to her dad about Mr Harrison, her dad will send for her and cancel the wedding. Tracy then ask her what she's going to do and she said, "since it's because of my father's money Mr Harrison wants freedom to marry me then I will bring him down, and as for freedom who has been in my heart from the very first day I saw his photo I wouldn't let any woman share him with me or steal him away from me". Kira later went to Raymond and they plotted with each other. They planned on how to gather gang of dangerous boys who will always run task for them.

Freedom went to visit jenny at the hospital, although jenny was still asleep. He brought Bella some food and thanked her for not leaving jenny. Guess what, Bella refused the food and told him that she can take care of jenny and herself without his help then she went outside. Freedom sat with jenny and began to talk to her to wake up. Suddenly Jenny's fingers moved, then freedom called the doctor with excitement that Jenny's waking up. However, it was only a sign that jenny is still alive but haven't opened her eyes yet.

Kira and freedom's family were having dinner together. Mr Harrison asked Melissa about freedom on how he should come back home. Melissa told her father that Freedom is only being responsible, "he just want to take care of jenny". Kira interrupted and said,

"but you and I know that he's not just there to take care of her but because he love her".

Mr Harrison said he don't think so, then Melissa said to kira in a rude manner, Why don't you go confirm from freedom yourself after all he's your soon to be husband.

In the morning kira decided to meet freedom at the hospital. Freedom was shocked to see her then asked her if she came to see jenny. She lied that she really came for jenny and told freedom to go get her hot coffee. Freedom left for the coffee and Bella was not around, she left to do some chores at home before coming back to stay with jenny at the hospital. When kira saw that nobody was there except her and Jenny who is still asleep, she started saying mean things to jenny,

"just look at you, unaware of what might happen to you or should I say, what will happen to you, you know, it will best for me to eliminated you out of the way or should I just say it will better for you to die, no I don't want you to die yet, I want you to watch me and freedom getting married to each other, it is the only thing that will give me great joy".

Freedom walks in and heard the last word kira mentioned and asked, "great joy!!, what's giving you joy". Kira pretended to be good and said,

"oh!!, I mean, it...it will be best for jenny to wake up for us, it is the only thing that will give us Great Joy".

A week later jenny woke up but couldn't easily recall how she was knocked down by the car. When she woke up it was freedom she first saw. He later explained and told her everything that it was him that hit her accidentally on the road. Jenny was discharged from the hospital the next seven days as she was feeling better and stronger.

When Mrs Mary noticed freedom will be coming home fully, she told kira to prepare freedom's favorite. Kira said to Mrs Mary, "but mum you know I'm not good in cooking so why do you want me to prepare food not to talk of freedom's favorite". Mrs Mary replied to her that it's because freedom is yet to be her husband.

Freedom's back home and was about to have dinner with his family. They tasted and realized there's too much spices in the food, so they couldn't eat. To change the topic and cover up for kira, Mr Harrison asked freedom if his ready to be a married man. Freedom replied with anger that he's never going to marry kira to his life. His father was speechless then freedom's mother asked him, "but I thought you've agreed before why the Sudden change", freedom kept quiet and didn't say anything, so he drank water and left. Kira was angry too so she left to her room. She called Tracy and told her that if care is not taken she will do to this Harrison's family what they will ever regret. Unknowingly to kira, Mr Mary came in, she heard what kira just said and asked her what she meant. Kira said it was just a friend and her family who have forgotten about her. Mrs Mary was confused then she left.

Mrs Mary called Melissa and told her that something is fishy about kira that from now on they should keep an eye on her. While talking to Melissa, kira overheard from behind, she was listening to what they were saying. later at night before Mr Harrison and his wife was about to go to bed, his wife told him about kira that she don't look the way she seems to be, she told him that they should withdraw from planning the wedding for now. Mr Harrison said, "that's not good to hear, but if you say so, no problem since freedom is also acting weird about it also". Kira went to the door and was listening to them from behind cause she thinks Mrs Mary's suspecting her. She came up with a plan and called Raymond to ask him if the boys are ready to go on a mission then Raymond told her that his boys are ready for anything.

In the morning, Mr Harrison left for work, and his wife also left to her office. kira and Melissa was at home while freedom went to visit jenny. When he got there he asked jenny how she's feeling and jenny told him she's getting better although she's still struggling to walk easily. Freedom brought some ice cream and chocolate for jenny. At first when freedom was still around, Bella acted like she don't want some ice cream and chocolate, but when freedom was gone she collected some from jenny then jenny began to laugh at her. Bella smiled and said,

"why are you laughing, come on girl it's just.., in the first place I never wanted to trust that guy and to make things worst he almost killed my best friend with his car, but seeing him now, the way he's taking care of you shows he's really kind and good.
