Julia flew back on Sunday morning, the day before the funeral, the flight took three hours and thirty minutes. while still on the plane Julia kept thinking that by the time she got to the airport that Emma would be waiting to pick her up and then they would go to the funeral together, but then she remembered it was Emma's funeral. she placed her head on over windows side trying to get her mind on more pleasant things. when she got to the airport she saw Thomas waiting for her, a smile creeped on her face and then she thought how her life would have been been without him. Thomas had nurtured her, inspired her and rooted for her. and she loved him for it. Jason parked his car in the lot across the road from the airport terminal- he had gotten the news from Thomas secretary after he had phone him to find out how he was handling the case of Emma he wanted to start writing an article on the case. then he found out that Thomas was on a day off which consists of going grocery shopping and getting his hair cut and also he had a friend coming in on the five- thirty plane. it was almost time and with purpose he crossed the road and pushed open the glass door of the terminal and then he sighted him sitting on the lunch counter. he took strides to him and asked him" can I sit?" Thomas looked up and upon seeing Jason lost his smile. " I was wondering if I could talk to you." Jason said. "and what would you like to say? ". Thomas retorted. "it's about Emma's death". Jason spurted out. "you better not be thinking of publishing a story about that, her parents are suffering enough", Thomas countered back. "of course I'm not planning on doing that but certain things about the death are not clear and it might lead to a story". "to be honest I was pretty surprised when I heard there will not be an autopsy." said Jason. so? "all you have to do is push little, present reasonable suspicion." Jason answered. "well there you go. I didn't have any suspicion and im having trouble seeing where this conversation is going Jason". Thomas asked. "I only want to hear your side of the story." Jason said " No. what you want is to write a story, stir people up and then make some money." Thomas replied. Jason suddenly got the feeling that they were not alone anymore and then he took a look to the left and sure enough someone was standing there. her eyes were blazing with hostility towards him. Thomas turned around ignoring him, he held out his arms and the young woman stepped into them.
