As news of Michael Arellano's impending marriage started to circulate in the media, the entire city was buzzing with excitement. At Sarah's workplace, her colleagues were no exception. Everyone was curious to know who the lucky woman was that had caught the eye of the wealthy heir to the Arellano company. As she sat in her cubicle, Sarah could hear her coworkers gossiping and speculating about her. Some said that she must be a beauty queen or a model. Others thought that she must have connections to some powerful family. "I bet she's some kind of high society girl, probably from a prominent family with connections to the Arellanos," Jen said (Sarah's co-worker), twirling a strand of hair around her finger. Robert chuckled as he replied to Jen's speculation about the lucky girl marrying the son of the company president. "Why do you even want to marry into the family? Jen giggled and said, "Yes, so I can kick you out of the office. Both Giggled. Michael entered Sarah's department with a sense of urgency. He had to talk to her and warn her about the news that had spread like wildfire in the media. He scanned the room, trying to find Sarah's desk, but he couldn't seem to locate her. He approached a group of Sarah's co-workers, who were chatting and working on their computers. "Excuse me," he said, "do any of you know where Sarah is?" The co-workers exchanged glances and then turned to face Michael. "Who are you?" one of them asked. One answered "Oh, he's the executive assistant." Michael couldn't help but smile at the recognition from Sarah's co-worker. No one recognized him as the son of the President. , I'm here to talk to Sarah. Can you please tell me where I can find her?" The co-worker nodded and pointed to Sarah's desk. "She's over there, Mr...," he said. Sarah was shocked when Michael appeared in her office, causing her to pause in the middle of her work. She looked up and met his gaze, feeling a mixture of surprise and confusion. "What are you doing here?" she asked, wondering why he had come to her workplace. Michael looked at Sarah and asked her if they could talk outside for a couple of minutes. Sarah hesitated for a moment but then nodded and followed him outside. They walked towards a quiet corner of the office building where they could talk privately. Sarah was clearly agitated as she confronted Michael about his presence in her office. "We have an agreement, Michael. Remember? To live our own lives?" she said, her tone laced with annoyance. Michael looked contrite. "I know, Sarah, and I'm sorry for showing up unannounced. But I wanted to talk to you about the media reports. They're painting a different picture of our agreement, and I don't want you to get caught up in any rumors or speculations." Sarah's expression softened a bit. "I understand, Michael, but you could have called or messaged me instead of coming here. People are already asking who you are and what your relationship is to me." As Sarah and Michael were talking at the corner of the building, suddenly Lucy appeared out of nowhere. Sarah was surprised to see her, but Michael's face lit up with joy at the sight of her. Lucy greeted Michael with a smile and hugged him warmly. "Why haven't you invited me yet to your wedding?" Lucy asked, her eyes twinkling mischievously. Michael laughed and replied, "We haven't even set a date yet, Lucy!" Sarah watched the interaction between Michael and Lucy, noticing the closeness between them. She couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy, but tried her best to keep her composure. She knew that Lucy was an important person in Michael's life, and it was natural for them to have a strong bond. As Lucy and Michael continued to catch up, Sarah was about to excuse herself from the conversation between Michael and Lucy when suddenly Lucy noticed her and said, "Oh, this must be the bride?" Sarah felt a bit awkward but managed to smile and introduced herself to Lucy. Lucy seemed friendly and asked Sarah a few questions about herself and Michael's relationship. Eventually, Sarah found a way to excuse herself and went back inside her office. She couldn't help but wonder who Lucy was and what her relationship with Michael was like.
