New Forest Pack

I sat inside of my office rubbing my temples. Brianna was throwing another fit. Loud crashes and banging echoed down the hallway rattling my office door. Jason my Beta sitting on the other side by the window.

This is how it has been since the day after Brianna got here. She refused the Luna lessons with my mum, she refused to meet with pack members, all she wanted to do was spend my money and buy what she wanted.

I did everything to please her, I indulged her, always making excuses for her. The s*x with her was out of this world. Just how it should be with your fated mate. Brianna came from The Midnight Pack. Her father wanted the alliance for financial reasons. Her pack was bleeding money and needed my pack to invest.

When I was with her at first, it was like she put on a show, gentle, caring, and sweet. Then the morning came when I walked into my office and saw her just sitting there. The look on her face seemed like she was spaced out. She didn't want to talk, she didn't want to go for a walk. The only thing that perked her up was when I mentioned she go shopping and handed her my black card.

I sat in my office and smiled. Seeing her smile like that the happiness that ommited from her made my heart burst. I was talking with my Beta Jason when I had a notification on my phone. I picked it up and my eyes widened.

A charge of 78,000 Dollars then 25,000 dollars. What the hell had she brought for that money on only two transactions.

I slowly put my phone down and just stared. My eyes not leaving where I had laid my phone. Inside I was mad. I knew that an argument was probably inevitable. I didn't see Brianna that night as Rogues had been sited on our borders and I had to go patrol with my warriors.

When I had returned home, Brianna was fast asleep in bed. I showered and got into bed and fell asleep.

The first argument was the following day, I caught her walking out through the main doors. I called her and asked where she was going. I noticed she was all glamed up. Brianna gave me a huge smile then winked at me. She told me she was going to go shopping. I stood there not believing what she just said. I hadn't even asked her about what she brought yesterday.

I walked over and took hold of her hand and pulled her to my office and shut the door.

"Jace, what the hell, what are you doing?"

"We need to talk."

I sat her down on the couch by the window and sat beside her.

"Babe, What did you buy yesterday?"

I saw her face twitch then she gave me a smile.

"Babe, you said I could shop so I did just that."

"Brianna, you spent over 90,000 dollar, what did you buy?"

"Just things I wanted, I had a facial, my nails done and I went to get a massage. Why do I have to explain this, I was bored."

"Bored. You was just bored?"

"Well yeah."

I couldn't believe my ears. What the hell was she saying?

"Brianna babe, if you were bored why didn't you do your Luna studies with mum, or go to the pre school like you should be doing?"

Brianna glared at me and jumped up.

"Are you f*****g kidding me right now. I am the god damn Luna not a servant. People should be serving me, not me working and sorting out peoples problems."

My mouth opened but nothing came out. At this moment in time I was absolutely speechless. Inside Cyrus was shaking his head. Even he opened his mouth but nothing came out.

I sat there and watched Brianna stroll out of my office swinging her hips as if she had one this fight. As she walked out Jason walked in. He stood there and looked at me not saying a word.

I stood up and looked out of the window, watching Brianna get into my car and drive off. The car spinned off nearly hitting some pack members as she passed them. There was silence in my office. Then I turned and went to sit behind my desk.

"Uh what was all that about man? she looked pissed."

"It's nothing." is all I told him.

"Any news about Jayla?"

"No nothing yet, but Alpha I did find out something else."

I was waiting for him to continue when a felt something snap inside. I bolted up right from my chair and one hand went onto the desk to help keep me from staggering, while the other grabbed over my chest. Cyrus came forward.

"What is happening?"

"I don't know bud." I looked at Jason

"Quickly, find out if someone has died or someone has left the pack." I all but screamed at Jason.

Jason stood there and didn't move.

"A...a Alpha that is what I needed to tell you."

"What? What is it? Speak now." I practically roared. Cyrus pushed forward even more.

"A...Alpha," He took a deep breath.

"I went to talk to Bryan again, and uh, well it's like this."

"For the love of the Moon Goddess spit it out for gods sake." I roared.

"He's gone." Jason took a step back.

"Gone? what do you mean gone?"

"The house, it looks like their valuables has been moved. There's left over food on plates on the dining table. It looks like no one has been there for a few day's."

I slumped into my chair, my hand still resting on my chest. She hasn't really left has she? No no she would never leave me. I looked at Jason.

"Go find out when was the last time anyone had seen Amy, Bryan and Jayla."

"On it Alpha."

Jason sprinted out of the office and dissappeared. The dull ache in my chest only happens when a pack member dies or someone has cut ties with the pack and the Alpha.

Have they all left? But where would they go? Then I recalled the day I last saw Jayla.

I know she was hurt when I brought Brianna back. I mean who wouldn't, we had promised to be each others chosen. I know she wanted to talk to me that morning but I needed to introduce Brianna to the pack.

I didn't expect Jayla's wolf to strike out at Brianna, My eyes shot open wider.

NO, did she take what I said seriously? Did she think I meant it when I told her to leave and never come back?

I started to panic. I stood up and walked to the window. Alot of that day was hazy, I was so wrapped up and consumed having my fated mate here with me that nothing else at that time really mattered.

After a couple of day's I had Jason secretly look for Jayla. I didn't really want her to leave us. We grew up together we all did. All I wanted was for her to apologise to Brianna and then behave. Either way she would have to accept my mate. Her new Luna.

"Luna! Yeah right." Cyrus huffed. "What makes her a Luna? What does she ever do? Even her wolf is just as bad as she is. I don't like her. She's stuck up. Never let's me near her." Cyrus snorted, turned and went to the back of my mind.

I stood there just looking out of the window. Where could Jayla go? Does she have money? has she somewhere to stay? Me and my big mouth. I know i could of handled it alot better. But all the what if's will not fix this now.

My thoughts were interrupted with a notification sound on my phone. I walked over and looked.

"God damn it 50,000 dollars what the hell." I said out loud to no one in the room.

I picked up the phone and called the card company. I put a stop on the card immediately. I knew this was going to cause hell when Brianna came back but right now I really didn't care. No sooner had I ended the call with the card company a phone call came through. It was Brianna. When I answered she started screaming and swearing down the phone. I pulled the phone away from my ear then hung up.
