I was finally resting without any worries when I had an unexpected visitor. 'Hello, niece.' The same guy from the store said. 'What do you want?' I asked him. 'There's no need to be rude. I've been trying to warn you that someone is after you and that they are coming for you.' He smirked. 'Okay, so what is your name and what are you getting out of this?' I raised an eyebrow. "Mother, Vanessa." Eden nodded. "Where's everyone?" He asked.

"Your father took Max, Jadiel, Jake, and Diesel to explore around." Emma answered.

"And Nic is still asleep, after all she's your best friend." My mother exclaimed. "You guys must be hungry?" She assumed, going around the kitchen fixing a plate with food. We sat down to eat our breakfast when all the guys came in through the back door.

"Well, well, well, look who decided to come down." Jake teased. Eden shook his head.

"Good morning, Jacob." I retorted. He made a face because he hates being called Jacob.

"Well, I have to go and do some work after being gone for so long. Please feel at home and I'll see you all later." Eden stated. He got up from his chair then looked down giving me a quick peck before he turned around and left the room.

"Perfect!" Emma exclaimed.

"Good morning." Nic chirped skipping into the kitchen. Jadiel pulled her into his chest giving her a quick peck on the cheek. I made a disgusted face. I really did not like seeing my best friend and my brother showing so much affection.

"We can get started on the preparation for you Luna commitment ceremony." Emma stated excitedly. All the men groaned.

"And that is our cue to run." Stephan exclaimed. They all hurriedly left the kitchen. We chuckled my nerves intensifying.

"Everyone is going to love you darling." Emma stated. "Now let's get started on the preparations. Will you be okay if we arrange it for two weeks from Saturday?" She asked. "It gives us time to make everything just like you want." She continued.

"Sounds good." I responded.

"Perfect." My mother clapped her hands. "Let's get started on the colors." She stated.

"Hmmm what about burgundy and rose gold?" I proposed.

"That's fantastic." Nic said. "Those colors are going to look lovely." She beamed at me.

"Now which color would you like for your dress to be?" Emma questioned.

"Hmm, I think burgundy, that way Eden can match his shirt with my dress." I stated.

"That sounds like a great idea." Emma exclaimed. We continued for the next four hours planning what it would look like and who we would invite, seemed like we were there all day. We were not even halfway done but I needed a break. I walked outside to the back yard and noticed they had a big tree that offered good shade. I walked over to it and took a seat before laying down. I closed my eyes, eventually, falling asleep.

I was abruptly woken up when someone coughed right next to me. "Who are you?" A female voice asked. I stared at her and got up.

"Who are you?" I asked her.

"I'm the future Luna of this pack." She scoffed. "I'm going to tell Eden to get rid of you for disrespecting me." She glared at me.

"Umm, what is your name sweety?" I questioned her.

"Jacqueline." She answered.

"Don't worry, I'll let him know how you want me to leave." I smirked.

"What do you mean? You are not getting close to my man, skank." She exclaimed.

"I mean he was the one who wanted me to come." I winked at her. "Like literally. He brought me here himself." I stated.

"He's mine and you're not going to get in my way." Jacqueline hissed.

"Ugh, I can't do this. Do whatever you want." I covered my ears. "Just heads up, be careful with what you say and do to me. We wouldn't want you hurting your pretty little hands." I commented. I turned away leaving her there standing. I went inside the pack house.

"Love, where were you?" Eden asked.

"Outside, dealing with your girlfriends?" I teased him.

"What are you talking about?" He asked. His mom and my mom stared at us.

"Well, I had the misfortune of being woken up from an amazing nap by your future Luna, Jacqueline." I chuckled. Eden looked at me worried. Emma and my mom were shocked. "Does the name ring a bell?" I joked.

"Hmm, there's only one Jacqueline I know, and we never had anything going on." Eden stated.

"Apparently, that's not what she thinks. She told me that she was going to tell you to get rid of me for disrespecting the future Luna." I chuckled. "I told her that I would tell you personally." Giving him a wink. Eden growl shook all the plates in the kitchen. "It's okay she won't do anything once she finds out I'll be her Luna officially in two weeks." I stated. I held his hand rubbing his arm with my other hand.

"You are something else." Emma chuckled. "I love it." She exclaimed.

"Mom, don't encourage her, I'm the one who has to deal with it." Eden glared at his mom. Gabriel entered the kitchen when we were about to sit down to have lunch.

"Is it safe." He asked, peaking in. I shook my head.

"Yes, darling come on in." Emma smiled at him. He took a seat across from me next to Emma who gave him a side hug. The kitchen ladies placed our plates on the table, and I didn't know how hungry I was until the smell hit my nose making my stomach grumble.

"Well, someone is hungry." Gabriel mocked me.

"Why not next time you sit with us through the whole planning." I glared at him.

"Um, no thanks." He uttered.

"Gabriel, can I ask you something?" I stared at him. He looked so familiar. I feel like there was a connection with him. His eyes looked like my father's and his hair looked like my mom's. that couldn't be because we would have known. Right? He looked up from his plate and nodded.

"Where are your parents?" I asked without thinking. Well, that was very straightforward. He was surprised.

"Taelyn, what kind of question is that?" My mother glared at me.

"It's okay, Mrs. Marquez." He gave her a small smile. I saw how Emma got uncomfortable. "I don't know them. I was raised by Emma, and I became the gamma when the prior gamma didn't have any children." I wanted to smack myself for being so nosey. "I was found in the forest by a couple of warriors when I was a couple of months old, I was too young to have my parent's or pack's scent, so they were not able to figure out who they were." He continued. My mother tensed up and her eyes got watery.

"I'm sorry for being so nosey." I mumbled. He chuckled.

"It's okay, I'm happy with the life I got either way, I was always treated good, and Emma treated me like her own son. I will always appreciate it that." Gabriel held Emma's hand and kissed the back of it.

"How old are you?" I asked him.

"I'm 26." He replied. Wait he's in between Jadiel and me. My mother's eyes widened.

"Excuse me, I need to go find Max." She walked out of the kitchen. Emma and Gabriel carried on with their conversation and I just stared at the door through where my mother had disappeared. It was very odd to see her react the way she did to Gabriel's story. 'Why are you so interested in Gabriel?' Eden mind-linked me laced with jealousy. 'I might have an idea as to the secret that guy was talking about.' I tell Eden. He cleared his throat, Emma and Gabriel stared at him.

"I'll be taking my mate; I need some alone time with her." Eden stated. Gabriel scrunch his nose and Emma grinned. We stood up and walked to the door.

"Stop with that face Gabriel, you know I want grandpups soon." Emma exclaimed. My treacherous saliva almost murdered me. I began chocking making Emma giggle. Eden tried to calm me down. We finally made it to his office.

"Alright, spill your theory." Eden demanded, after he led me to his chair. He took a seat pulling me against his chest and I was seating awkwardly on his lap.

"Well, remember how the guy from my dream and dress shop said that my parents were keeping a secret?" I asked Eden as I tried to seat right. He held me tight thinking I was trying to get up and move away. I was able to get comfortable and Eden relaxed as well.

"Yes, I remember, so what does he have to do with the secret?" Eden asked.

"Well, when he was seating across from me, I felt he had a familiar look. I stared at him and that's when I noticed that his eyes are exactly like my mom's and his hair was exactly like my father's to include the curls." I could always be wrong. I sigh. "It was too much coincidence so that is why I asked him about his parents. When he said that he never knew them and that he was abandoned my mother became tense and her eyes got watery. I thought it was because she had kids and felt bad for him." I continued.

"So, you are thinking that the secret they are holding from you all is that they had another child and they abandoned him or what?" Eden inquired, his hands rubbing my belly.

"I don't know honestly. When I asked him how old he was, when he said he was 26 it just started making sense." It was obvious right? "The huge age gap between Jadiel and I." I continued. The indications were more than obvious especially with my mother's reaction. Nonetheless, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I didn't want to think that they had abandoned their child in the middle of the nowhere. Why or how could they do that. I stood up abruptly and began pacing back and forth. I began hyperventilating. My heartbeat skyrocketed. Eden stood up pulling me towards him embracing me in a tight hug. I felt how my body relaxed. My heartbeat and breathing began to normalize.

"That's just coincidental." Eden stated.

"You didn't see how my mother reacted after that?" I asked him. He shook his head. "Her eyes widened, and her breath hitched." I continued. "She excused herself abruptly claiming she needed to go look for my father." My rage was rising again. Eden sat me on his desk and his hands were around my waist.

"Love, you need to calm down and talk to them." Eden placed himself in between my legs. He gave my mark a lingering kiss. I welcomed his ravishing.
