Mark

Me and Anthony watch through our wolves eyes as this young looking she-wolf runs into this quaint little cabin to get us some clothes. She definitely has some sass that's for sure. She said she was Zackary's mate so she will be our Luna. She looks so sweet but has spunk. I think she will be perfect. She pops back out with some sweats and a few large shirts for us and then tells us to get dressed and come in, she said she's getting the table cleared so we can put Zackary on it to start treating his wounds since his seem to be worse than ours. We take the clothes and shift back then get dressed and get Zackary dressed and carry him in. "So... What's your name? I'm Mark, this is Anthony and the guy right there you said is your mate is Zackary." She looks up and smiles, "I'm Aurora. It's nice to meet you guys, I am sorry it was such horrible circumstances though. I have had to keep myself hidden from the rogues, they are getting more and more aggressive now." I watch her closely and see that she's mixing different ingredients into a cauldron and checking a book constantly, 'Anthony, I think Zackary's mate is part witch. She must be a hybrid! It looks like she is making a healing potion or maybe an antidote to the poison.' 'No way! Really? Shannon is going to be over the moon man.' We both look at each other and smile then sit back and watch her work. Zackary is a lucky wolf to have this girl as his mate.

Aurora

I can feel them both watching me but it isn't hostile, it seems more like curiosity. I finish mixing the potion and pour three glasses. I hand one to Mark and one to Anthony, "I apologize in advance but I can tell you right now that stuff is going to taste awful. But on the bright side you will feel a thousand times better after you drink it. Now the tricky part is going to be trying to get, Zackary you said right, to drink it." "We can sit him up right for you so we can try to get it down his throat if that will help?" I believe that was Mark offering that. "Yes that might work actually, it might take a little longer for it to take effect for him so we can move him to the bed after we get him to drink it. I'll make some food for all of you after we move him. I'm sure you're all hungry and I know he will be when he wakes up since he will need to replenish energy." I smile at them and they both nod. They drink their potions and make some pretty hilarious faces from the taste. Mark sits Zackary up and I slowly trickle the potion down his throat, thankfully it all goes down with no problems. They help me move him to the bed and I get him all tucked in and comfortable then head to the kitchen. This has definitely been a crazy birthday.

Zackary

I am still half asleep but I don't feel anymore pain and it's like I'm swimming in my mates scent. It is absolutely heaven in here. Sweet honey and mint, one of my most favorite combinations. I slowly open my eyes and realize I am laying in a bed, I look at my leg and see my wound is gone. 'Apollo?' 'Hello there sleeping beauty! You missed mate she just came in to check on you, I heard her talking to herself. She made food apparently and set side a plate for you. She helped heal us, and Mark and Anthony as well.' 'How long was I out?' 'A few hours, but we needed the rest.' I get up and stretch then slowly make my way out of the room so I don't startle my mate. I notice Mark and Anthony sleeping in some chairs in this tiny living room and notice the young woman who must be my mate asleep on the couch, she must have given me her bed. I look at her for a while. She is so beautiful, her hair is a color I have never seen before, well I should say colors. Beautiful hues of blue, purple, pink and green all swirled together like the northern lights. I look over and see a huge plate of food that she set aside for me on the table so I sit down and quietly start eating. I look up at notice Mark is awake and looking at me. 'Hey man, good to see you up and eating. You've been down for a few hours, Aurora here has barely left your side. You my friend are extremely lucky to have her as your mate. And that we were so close when we got attacked. She said they had a really potent poison that they got in your blood stream so you are lucky to be alive. And yes before you ask we let Matt know what was going on and that we would be back in a day or two.' 'Thanks man. So her name is Aurora. She is beautiful. I am extremely lucky. Interesting hair color, and if I wasn't hallucinating her wolf was swirled gold and silver was she not?' 'Yeah she was, you are correct. I'll let her tell you about herself, she's pretty nervous and seems to think you might reject her when you find out about her. I know you won't and I tried telling her but I think she has been alone a long time so she isn't super trusting of others.' I nod and look back over at her again, she must be uncomfortable on that couch, she must've given me her bed. I stand up and clean my plate off, careful not to wake her. Then I head over and gently lift her up and place her in her bed, covering her with the blankets and head back out to sleep on the couch. I lay down and close my eyes. I finally found my mate and she is absolutely perfect. I smile then fall back into a peaceful sleep.

Aurora

I wake up and stretch. That has to be one of the best nights of sleep I have had in a while. No nightmares from my past. I bolt up and realize I am back in my bed and not on the couch. I run out to check on the guys and notice they are all spread out on the chairs and couches in the living room. I smile and head into the kitchen to start making breakfast. I am super nervous about today. I am doing to have to talk to my mate and tell him I am a hybrid and hope that he doesn't reject me. I know Mark said he wouldn't but I just don't know if I trust them yet, they seem super nice but I just don't know. 'You just need to stop freaking yourself out girl. Mate is here! I know he won't reject us. I can feel it. Just be happy!' 'I know Athena and I am happy, I am just nervous...' 'Don't be Aurora. It is time you finally had something good in your life. Besides me of course.' I laugh quietly at that, careful not to wake the guys up. I pull out some sausage and bacon and get out the eggs and bread. I start frying the bacon and sausage while I get the stuff together to make pancakes as well. Their wolves were quite large and so are they so I am sure they eat a lot. I finish the bacon and sausage and start on the pancakes. I place the plates of sausage and bacon in the oven to keep them warm. As I am working on the pancakes I look back into the living room and notice they are all starting to wake up to the smell of food so I start the coffee pot and get the toast and eggs going as well so that I can have breakfast ready for them.

Zackary

I wake up to the smell of my mate and breakfast. Bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes, toast and coffee. Yup definitely in heaven here. I sit up and look back and make eye contact with my mate. She smiles at me. "Hello, I'm Aurora, It's good to see you up. You had a really bad wound yesterday Mate and I didn't know if you would make it. I made breakfast if you're hungry." "Famished. I'm Zackary. I am very happy to have finally found you Mate." She smiles again. I can't wait to see that smile every single day for the rest of my life.
