Chapter Ten: HER; Obsession Pt2

I look to see Seungmin, whose gaze wouldn't leave mine, "Look, Mona, you came to talk at the wrong time at the wrong place." Seungmin said Mona turned to look at me. "Hmm, right, I forgot. It seems like history is repeating itself." Mona said with a smirk plastered on her red lips. I was dazed and confused about everything. I felt my phone ring. I look to see Christopher, how did he get my number? I decided to answer and walk out of the diner. "Hello," I said I could hear a soft sigh escape from him "Uh Hi Mitzi, I'm sorry for calling. I should hang up, again I'm sorry." He said I run my hand through hair "No no, it's fine exactly there's nothing important going on, uh is there something you wanted to talk about?" I asked I look to see Seungmin and Mona have a small argument. "Well I thought you were going to hang out with us but when Doyeon told me you already had other plans, and I thought why not check up on you," Christopher said he seemed nervous yet calm at the same time. I let out a small giggle, "You didn't have to do that." I spoke with a smile forming on my lips.

"I think it's lovely of you, I did have plans with Seungmin, but I think those plans were interrupted by personal reasons," I said looking over to see Mona was still there talking with Seungmin well more like arguing "Interrupted? May I ask by who?" He asked, I let a sigh leave my lips "The same woman from yesterday, Mona." I said I could tell that by the mention of her name, his mood had changed from a caring one to a pissed-off demon. "Where are you?" He asked I turn to look at the street number "Uh We're in Jung-gu, Myeongdong at a diner close by the Urban Space Cafe." I said, turning around to see Seungmin walking out of the diner with Mona following behind. "Don't go near Mona understand, look just wait for me, alright," Christopher said before hanging up. I remove my phone from my ear, "Seungmin!" Mona was pissed; her eyes were filled with malevolent, which began to scare me.

I look at Seungmin. "Min, I may not know what is happening, but whatever you and Mona have, I don't care okay because you never tell me things, so I think I should go okay. You should stay and work whatever it is that you guys have." I said, walking back inside the diner, grabbing my bag, I walked over to the cashier and paid her for the food.

I walk out of the diner to see the black Mercedes Benz. I look at Seungmin and Mona; they were confused and dazed by Christopher's appearance. I rush over to him, "Let's go," I said, but he kept his gaze on them. "Chris, what a surprise, I can see that history is once again repeating itself," Mona said, smirking her gaze never left me. I look at Christopher then at Seungmin, "Christopher come on before she does something to you." I whispered, grabbing hold of his forearm; his gaze was focused on me. "Get in the car." He whispered, his voice was so stern. I gulped but decided to obey his words. I took one last glance at Seungmin before walking to the passenger side of his car. I put the seatbelt on I was shaking in fear, I look out the window to see Christopher and Seungmin arguing along with Mona. "Stay away from her, Chris! Why can't you see that she's not me!" Mona was face to face with Christopher in anger. "Exactly she's not you! She's nothing like you! And I'm glad that Seungmin is pushingyou  away, which is something I should've done a long time ago!" Christopher walked over to the car before Mona could try anything on him.

I was so confused, lost from all of this. What happened between the three of them? 

9:10 pm

During the whole car ride, neither of us said anything , mostly because Christopher was still cooling off from the anger that he had built inside. I could feel him taking small glances here and there, "Do you live at the same apartments as Eunwoo?" he asked. I turn to look at him, "Yes." I said, "I'm dropping you off home." He said I felt my heart racing each time I would catch a single glimpse of him. I look away from him. My phone began to ring. I look at the caller ID; Laura was calling. I answer her call, "Hey, Laura. It's late, shouldn't you be resting?" I asked she lets out a small chuckle "Shouldn't you be in bed by now knowing that it's probably like what 10 pm over there." She said I smiled at her for being the protective older sister. "It's only like 9 pm, so what's the reason you're calling it this time?' I asked as Laura let out a scoff.

"I can't call my little sister to see how she's doing." She said, "Nope, my sister has the right to know, but seriously, why are you calling so late?" I asked anxious to know the reason for her call.  "It's not that serious, but Emily was discharged from the hospital, but don't worry, dad is already working on everything to keep her from seeing Rosie and Dylan." She said a sigh of relief left my lips, but I still worried about the safety of my siblings. "Good, just please keep them safe, the last thing I want is for Rosie and Dylan to get hurt because of Emily or Ed," I said I look out the window to see that we had arrived at the apartments. "Hey, can I call you later, I just got home, and well I had an exhausting day." I said, "Of course, well, call me when you can alright please be safe." she said I hanged up and look at Christopher. 

"Thank you for dropping me off," I said, taking the seatbelt off. "If I didn't call, then you would've been hurt," he said. I gave him a look of confusion, "Hurt? How?" I asked. He lets a sigh leave his lips, "Mona Hun isn't exactly a nice person, nor does she have a heart. Mona is a terrible person, so I advise you to stay away from her." He said I gave him a small nod before getting out of his car. "Mitzi, wait," Christopher said, getting off his car, walking over to me. "I know it's a bad time to be asking this," he said, pausing for a bit,"but on Monday, Changbin is having a small get together. I was wondering if you would like to be uh my date for the gathering." he said, scratching the back of his neck. I look at him with a small smile. "I-" the sound of tires screeching we both turn to see Seungmin getting out of his car. I look at them afraid that something was going to happen, but of course, my big mouth only made things worse.

Seungmin had Christopher by the collar of his jacket, "Seungmin, what are you doing?" I asked, grabbing his arm, a gasp escaped from my mouth as he throws a punch at Christopher. "Seungmin!" I look at him in shock, "I thought I made it clear that you should stay away from Mitzi." Seungmin said his voice filled with fury.

I felt afraid and angry, "Stop it!" I said, pulling Seungmin off, "What the hell is wrong with you? Seungmin, you need to stop forbidding me from seeing other guys, Seungmin. I'm not your property." I said, looking at him with so much anger, but I just couldn't stay angry, something was keeping me from staying mad at him. "I know you're not property, Mitzi, but you just don't understand," he said. I stand in front of Christopher, blocking Seungmin from hitting him again "But what Seungmin? But what, you never tell me s**t about your problems! You never f*****g open up to me! Do you have any idea how I wish for you to open up to me, but you never do! And I'm tired of you keeping things from me!" I look away from him as tears began to form in my eyes.

"Christopher, you should go. Thank you again for dropping me off. I'll text you later, and I'm sorry for what Seungmin did." I said, looking at him with a worrisome look, he wasn't affected by the punch; he seemed to calm, almost like he didn't want to acknowledge what had happened. "Don't worry about that; be safe." He said while heading to his car. Once Christopher left, I turn to look at Seungmin. "I hope that one day you'll understand that I'm my person," I said before heading inside the building.

Why does Seungmin hate Christopher so much? What is their history? Gosh, I just wanted to live a healthy college life without any worries, but I guess a normal life comes with a price. But the real question is her; Mona, why is she always nagging at the boys? Does she have an obsession? What kind of person is Mona Hun?
