The Blue Moon Pack

As the Alpha approached the four large wolves, not seeing the little wolf, they were hiding behind them. The Alpha looked at Bryce and saw that he was getting up. He noticed that Bryce was in perfect condition, not a single scratch on him, but how?

"Alpha, I am sorry. I didn't mean to leave from the pack," Bryce explained. "I just felt a pull that was strong; I can not explain it, sir."

"You are right; you should have never left the pack without my permission. What happened, and who are they?" the Alpha asked, pointing to the four men. 

"Well, Alpha, I was following everyone, and suddenly I felt this pull. It overcame my wolf-like he needed to know what was that pull, but when I got to the room, all I found were these two wolves fighting off the wolves that had died. I was about to help when the grey one attacked me. I had tried to get him off of me, but I couldn't, and then that one (he pointed to Dominic) killed him; then they disappeared until those black wolves showed up," Bryce explained to the Alpha.

"But, I do not understand why they would help you or why the rouges would attack them?" The Alpha pondered. He then looked to the four wolves that were standing defensive. He noticed that the two black wolves were enormous like Alphas, and the two greyish wolves were even a bit larger than the black ones. So he knew that they were Alphas as well; this confused him. It was unheard of to see four Alpha wolves traveling together as a pack. The Alpha looked at the four wolves and knew he had to ask some questions. As he was about to address them, Bryce looked at him and said, "Sir, one of the grey wolves saved me; he healed my wounds that I would have died from. I thought you should know, Sir. I do not think they mean any harm."  

"I am Alpha Maxwell Marcusson of the Blue Moon Pack. This is my land and my city. What are you doing here?" Alpha Maxwell demanded as Officer Daniels comes running up.

"ISAIAH, EZEKIEL, DOMINIC, ELISHA… ARE YOU OKAY? IS LILLY SAFE?" Officer Daniels exclaimed breathlessly. He saw Alpha Maxwell; and looked at the four wolves; he looked back and forth between them.

"Daniels, what are you doing here? You should be back in the town." Maxwell was telling Daniels.

"I came to see if the travelers were safe? They had a little girl with them." Officer Daniels told Maxwell. Isaiah shifts back to his human form as Dominic clothed him. 

"We are fine, my friend. How are you doing?" Isaiah asked.

"I am much better now. Is the little one safe? I am so worried about her." Officer Daniels explains to him.

Isaiah smiled at him and stated, "yes, she is perfectly fine. She was sleeping and stayed asleep." Officer Daniels let out a breath of relief.

"Thank you for helping to save the town Isaiah; you didn't have to do that." Officer Daniels said. Maxwell and the other from his pack gasped in shock.

"Well, Officer Daniels, you have shown such generosity and compassion to us that we could do no other than to help. It is how we were all brought up," Isaiah explained to him.

"When I saw you in your wolf form, I knew it was you. It was like you were telling me that it was you. How did you do that? Alpha Maxwell can not do that with me?" Officer Daniels asked.  He looked at the others and saw a little grey wolf walking up to him. Officer Daniels was shocked. He looked to the guys, and they realized that she had walked off from them. They immediately shifted back to human form and went to pick her up. She growled at her brother and walked right up to officer Daniels who looked as he was going to pass out from shock. Officer Daniels looked at Maxwell. 

"I have never seen a wolf so small. Have you?" Officer Daniels asked the Alpha.

"No, I have not seen a shifter wolf that small before," Maxwell stated. Officer Daniels looked at the men and asked, "Where is Lilly?"

Dominic looked at him and looked at the pup and said, "Shift." He said that the pup looked at him and barked; she then sat at Officer Daniels's feet, wagging her tail. Both he and Alpha Maxwell did not seem to understand who he was talking to. So Dominic looked at the pup again, and using his Alpha tone, he told the pup to shift. She whined but shifted back to her human form. Dominic waved his hand and clothed her. The men looked shocked and took a step back as the pack warriors that were present gasped. 

"Is that normal?" Officer Daniels asked Alpha Maxwell.

"NO!" stated Alpha Maxwell. 

"This is Lilly, my youngest sister. This is  Ezekiel. I am Dominic Blue Crescent. We are not from around here. Oh.. this is Guardian Isaiah and Guardian Elijah Terrance," Dominic introducing everyone to Alpha Maxwell. The Guardians bowed in respect. 

"What pack do you belong to? I do not know anything about any Blue Crescent Pack here," Alpha Maxwell states as he looks to his Beta for conformation.

"We are from Poligus, Russia, our pack no more. Our home is gone. We were sent here by our Mother and Father to protect our sister from the ones that destroyed our pack," Dominic explained to everyone. Officer Daniels and Alpha Maxwell looked at each other with shielded emotions. Lilly tugged on Officer Daniels's pant leg. He looked down to see her smiling face as she gazed at his arm covered in blood and asked, "Policajče Daniels, što vam se dogodilo s rukom? Jesi li ozljeđen? Trebate poljupce? Ja to činim boljim. (Officer Daniels, what happened to your arm? Are you hurt? You need kisses? I make it better.)" Officer Daniels looked confused as he looked to Isaiah. "What did she say?" he asked Dominic.

"She asked, 'If you were okay, and if you were hurt?' Oh, and if you needed kisses, she could give you some," Isaiah said, smiling. Officer Daniels looked at the child and laughed, "Oh, no child, I am fine. I hurt my arm, but it is just a scratch. It will heal just fine." Lilly just looked at him knowingly. Alpha Maxwell looked at everyone and said, "Now wait one minute; how old is that child, and why has she already shifted?!" Dominic looked confused at the Alpha and said, "Do your pups not shift at a young age? While my sister is two years old, she is younger than most others, most shift for the first time around what year 4 or 5. My brother and I were also early shifters." 

"No, our young do not shift till they are 17 years old. I have never seen a pup shift before the age of 17, maybe 16 for alpha wolves," stated a perplexed Maxwell. His Beta Ryder Wells (a  six-foot six-inch man, with blond hair and honey hazel eyes. He has a broad chest and muscular arms as well as powerful legs) explains to his Alpha, "Sir, there have been instances where pups have shifted in great times of need. Their wolves came to them early and shifted. So they must have been in great trouble for them to all do that." Ryder looked to Dominic and asked, "Dominic, is it? Didn't you say your pack was destroyed, and your parents sent you all here?"

"Yes, the Great Council sought to destroy us so they could take over, and our parents gave their lives for us to leave and come here," Dominic replied.

"The Great Council? What is that? How did your parents give their lives so you can come here? How did you get here from Russia" Ryder kept asking?  Overwhelming Dominic and Ezekiel. They looked to the Guardians, and Dominic mind linked them, "What do we say? How can we explain to them without giving them too much information about who we are?"

"Let me handle this, we need to handle it delicately," Isaiah told them. "These questions you ask Second are important, yes, but please understand that there are things that can not be disclosed at this time for the three's protection. If the wrong people found out, it could be death for them and death to the little one whose life we must protect at all costs. She is our future," Isaiah continued.

"Second? Can not disclose! Do you know who we are?" Ryder asked, annoyedly.

"Beta, Calm down. It is okay they want to protect the little girl. How is she the future? Can we know that?" Maxwell asked.

"She is to be our leader. She will bring the packs together and bring peace again. That is why we must not disclose everything about who and what happened. The Moon Goddess brought us here and to you. So, therefore, she must have a reason." Elijah said. The Alpha and Beta look to each other and then to the five there. 

"They are right; the Moon Goddess brought them here so that we will welcome them," Alpha said to his Beta. 

"Are you SERIOUS! We can not just let them into the pack. How do we know they will not betray us?" Ryder asked Maxwell.

"They will not betray us, because they know what it means to be betrayed. I also was not going just to let them join the pack, but I was going to let them go through the trials like any other one that wants to join," Maxwell explained to Ryder. With that, Alpha Maxwell turned to the four men and told them, "I do believe that the Moon Goddess sent you here, and I am willing to let you join my pack and with that all the protection that comes with it. Under one condition, each of you must pass the trails. Excluding the pup, but you pass, you join. How does that sound?" Alpha Maxwell offered.
