Zexal walked to the basement level of his mansion into a dark room that only had a table, two chairs, and a magic crystal orb. He sat at the table in silence looking at the crystal orb.
He took in a breath, placed a hand on the orb, and spoke. “I’ve been teaching the boy how to fight and a bit of magic, are you sure he can be of use? I don’t think he can be useful just-”
He suddenly stopped talking.
“I see.” He continued, “So you want me to keep training him.”
He stopped again.
“Okay, I’ll do that,” he continued.
Have him commit each of the Seven Deadly Sins and see which he responds to? How do I do that without him catching on?
Chapter 12
Wrath was committed just about daily, “Crow” went out and hunted the Hunters with the hopes of Airi regaining her memories. Greed was never committed. Zexal tried to tempt him into getting greedy by using money, but “Crow” didn’t seem to care for it. This was also the case for Gluttony. “Crow” would only consume what was needed and never more. Zexal began becoming frustrated.
Just how do I get him to commit the other ones?
Sloth was out of the question as “Crow” was anything but lazy.
What about Pride?
Zexal began thinking of what Sin to have the young Hell-Dweller commit. He began thinking, just what makes Pride such a deadly Sin? And how would someone commit it?
He began pacing in the dark room, alone, with just his thoughts.
What about if I ask him if he’s proud of himself for the things he’s done? If he thinks he’s the best as to what he’s done thus far?
He stopped pacing, a smile on his face. “That’s it!” That’s all I have to do!”
He walked out of the dark room and made his way up the stone stairs, to the mid-levels of the manor. There he ran into Airi, or rather a shell of what she was. In his heart he felt disdain, for he had realized that she would be used for yet another part of “Crow’s” Sins. He would use her for Envy, but that would happen another day. He simply smiled and stroked her hair, “Such beauty.”
She shyly smiled, “Th-thank you…”
