Chapter 14

Waking up I could hear my mom downstairs going off about something. Pushing the covers back I stand up and walk out of the room and downstairs.

"And the next time I come over here and my granddaughter is playing with scissors I'm gone f**k you up". My mother said all in Camilla's face when I walked into the kitchen.

"Why she had scissors Cam". I ask walking over picking up our 1 year old daughter.

"I didn't know she had them I left them on the couch to come get a drink and then your mama came in doing all that damn cussing". She said and my mom drew her head back causing me to sigh.

"You damn right I came in cussing when I see my ONE year old grand baby with scissors in her hand what if she would have cut herself or fell with them". My mom said and she did have a point but her approach wasn't good.

"Ma next time try talking to her nicely about it". I said and she looked over at me.

"How many times I got to talk nicely Ace this ain't the first time that baby had something dangerous in her hand and Camilla wasn't watching her". She said causing me to look over at Camilla.

"What is she talking about". I ask handing Babygirl to my mom.

"She lying she just don't like me". Camilla said mugging my mom.

"Can you take her to the living room". I ask looking over at my mom.

"Yeah but before I go let me tell you this young lady I'm not doing this because I don't like you I'm doing it because you're putting this baby in harms way and you act like you don't even care". My mom said before walking out.

"How many times this s**t happened". I ask watching her move around the kitchen.

"Like 5 or 6 times". She said with a shrug.

"5 or 6, yo stop playing with me before I go upside your head from now on I'm taking Milan with me". I said before walking out of the kitchen.

This broad getting on my nerves.

This morning I woke up to Blu crying her little heart out because she needed to be changed. I already got us ready for the day since I had to hit the studio and I'm taking her with me.

"Knock knock are you guys ready". Denise asked standing by the front door.

"Yeah is there anybody outside". I ask picking up Blu and putting a blanket over her.

"It's 4 in the morning everybody's still sleep and I checked for cameras". She said and as we walk out I lock the door behind us.

Walking over we get in the car and the driver pulls off.

"She's going to be sleep by the time we make it there". Denise said looking down at Blu.

"Hopefully she stills through the whole thing but knowing her she's going to wake up". I said causing us both to laugh.

After that it was a comfortable silence the rest of the ride.

|20 minutes later|

Getting out of the car we make our way inside the building and to my studio room laying Blu on one of the couches.

"So where are we starting". My producer asked as I walked over beside him.

"I sent you over a little snippet of what I've been working on to your email". I said watching as he pulled up google.

He pulled it up and I walked into the booth taking a seat grabbing the headphones. Putting them on the music started playing and I began to sing.

|5 hours later|

We've been in the studio for a long time and I have some things to do for my show that's coming up. I Denise call my babysitter so she can come watch Blu while I do fittings and rehearsals.

" She said she'll meet us at the place". Denise said and I nodded handing Blu to one of my guards that showed up and he took her out first.

"Okay". I said grabbing my things and following her out.

Getting in the car I pick up Blu and sit her in my lap. The radio was on and I heard Ace's voice through the speakers.

"Dada". Blu said causing me to sigh.

"Can you turn the radio up Dean". I ask my driver and he nods turning it up.

Blu started bouncing in my lap causing me to laugh.

Maybe one day she'll get to meet him...
