//Chapter 47//

I collapsed to the ground sideways as I released to illusion on Savin and Resh. I was sitting on the edge of the bed. I closed my eyes, waiting for the impact. It did not happen, though. Strong hands on my shoulders stopped the fall on the midway. I opened my eyes to see Savin, his face alarmed in concern. "Are you okay?" "We should let her rest." Resh said. Savin nodded. I tried to protest. "The sooner we can go-" "We are not going with someone who's going to faint at any moment." Resh said. "You may be a princess, but I am the Crown Prince and I decide who I want in my crew. Certainly not you, given your condition." I rolled my eyes at him. "Fine. I'll rest." Savin laughed. "I'll stay with you." "No, you won't." Resh dragged him away by his elbow. Savin made a pouting face as Resh slammed the door behind him. I couldn't help but chuckle. Sometimes, I envied their relationship. It was what Cara and I used to have, back then. There hadn't been anyone else. I was grateful to Resh for telling me to rest. That creature, Cenov's memories still bothered me a lot. I felt his emotions when his lover, Muden went mad. He saw with his own eyes as Muden dug his eyes out and offered them to him. Then he went crazy as well. When the memories first hit me, I wanted to cry from the empathy. How can someone endure so much? How many years had they spent underground? In his memories, we saw the earliest Elkelyn's banishment. That must have been at least a thousand years ago, when my grandfather, Alastaine Rawyer ruled. Or even before that, when my great grandfather Rifersan Rawyer was the king. Spending that much time underground, I could not have been even able to imagine that pain without his memories. I closed my eyes. The bed and pillow was cozy and I was exhausted, so it didn't take me a lot of time to fall asleep. - I was back in my cell. Only this time, there was someone sitting beside me. I knew it was Muden, the invisible man. "Thank you." He said. I looked up. Others were also there. Cenov grinned at me. "You've got some pretty skills." I mirrored his smile. He continued on. "Thank you for saving us from that hell. We owe you." "No you don't." I said. "That was the least Rawen could do after what we did to you." Cenov smiled. "Healers don't hold grudges, kid. And you are not responsible for other's actions. If you were our queen, the future would have been so much different." I did not say anything. I was not sure what I would have done if I was a queen. Would I have taken the side of the Elves and driven away the newly found monsters? Or would I decide to treat them as our own? But I knew, I certainly would not have thrown scalding hot water on people and children while stoning them to death. Muden stood up and went to join the others. All of them bowed at once. "You have your doubts, child. Just know that not all can rule with a heart. And, you got a beautiful heart." Muden smiled. I watched as they vanished from my sight, all alone in the Eternal Prison. - "They still didn't respond?" I asked from Nave. He shook his head. "I don't know what they are doing. We attacked Sermeth for three times now. All of them were farms, and there is only one section left. According to our friend, that section belongs to someone called Hallowburn. We are to keep our distance from them." "That was from a week ago." Garren said. "Our troops are tired from crossing Blue sunset just to do small attacks. There are not even a challenge. Elkelyns are truly unresponsive and they can't fight back either. This is like bullying." "We killed so many of their patrolling soldiers." It was Lamen. "Droumer is still not responding. Do you think they are planning something?" The question was directed at me. "I think that might be it too. Droumer is not someone to ignore his people. That council is eager to attack us as well. This quiet does not sit right with me." "Then how should we proceed, Your Majesty?" Ganin asked. I paced back and forth, thinking. "The only time I've seen them agitated is when there was an attack on Yorosso." I said. "Yorosso?" Nave asked, studying a map. "That is past Sermeth and Leven. If we had to attack there, we had to go around Bluesunset." "Depart today." I said. "Sooner the better. If Nasha is truly with them, she won't stay quiet. They must be planning something." "Worry not, your highness." Nave said. "She is just one person. She can't do anything." "You don't know her." I said. - I didn't know how much time passed when I woke up. I sat up groggily and yawned. After a second, I let myself fall back to the bed. Five more minutes. A laughter came from the otherside of the room. I didn't get up. "Were you watching me sleep?" I asked with a smile. "That is invading privacy." "Well, this isn't the first time." Savin said, coming around and sitting on the edge of bed. "And it certainly won't be the last time. You look so cute when yiu are sleeping." "You are a pervert." I said, covering up my eyes with a hand. I felt him moving, coming on top of me. I removed my hand. He bent down, pressing on my body with his weight. His breath was covering my neck, sending fire and goosebumps over my body, driving me crazy. I bit my lip to stop any sound that threatened to escape my mouth. "I'm your pervert." He whispered, lips against my neck. I shivered at the touch. I felt his lips stretching to a smile. He got up, leaving me hot and bothered and unsatisfied. I almost groaned as he completely got up, smiling. "So," He said, lying beside me. " What were you dreaming about that made you go so in to a rampage?" "Oh." I remembered Daniel and my bothered mood vanished. "There's going to be an attack." I said. "In Yorosson."
