Stronger

^Loras point of view^

It's been three days since Rin returned and at the same time, it's been three days since Lora found her will to live again. Since then she managed to sleep in at least once and it felt amazing. What concerned her was that the person that lived in the camp with her was really strange and quite a few times he managed to scare her. Lora wanted to figure out his secrets but she was still looking for a way to get him to talk.

Even though they were kind of living together they don't talk much about themselves, their dialogues mostly revolve around chores around camp. But Lora was determined to find more about strangers that she owned her life.

As for today, she was out to the village where she got attacked last me, only this time she was walking with confidence in her step, she wasn't afraid as before so after checking out surroundings from the hill she went straight towards the water pump. After refilling her water containers she decided to walk around the village for the first time.

Most of the houses were completely deserted without a thing left in them. But one was almost as if someone lived there just yesterday. Lora was curious by nature so she decided to check it out, 'Maybe I could find something useful in there, after checking out the kitchen she found some good plates and a couple of knives that were still useful. After that, she went to the bedroom where she found a massive clothes drawer that still was full. After checking it out she found a lot of clothes that could fit her well, even some dresses. 'Sadly I have nowhere to wear them' Lora thought, but some other clothes had to come with her as she had no new clothes for a couple of years.

The moment of happiness was suddenly stopped by something she hasn't heard the years after the world fell. It was a car engine roaring inside the village. Lora's heart suddenly skipped a beat but her newfound strength pushed her to find out more information about people who were driving it. To do that she needed to get closer to the window. She moved slowly and in seconds she was right next to the window that had a view of the street. She looked closely as the sound got closer and closer. Without moving she noticed the car and four passengers inside of it. All of them seemed middle-aged and they were looking for something or maybe it was someone. That moment she thought about Rin, could it be that they were looking for him? Has he done something to them? These kinds of thoughts suddenly flooded Lora's mind as she still looked up at the moving car. She noticed a couple of big rifles inside of the car as well, they looked like something she saw in movies and that made her both interested and scared. The car finally started to move further away and from the sound, it left the village and went away. That was the queue for Lora to move away, she wasn't scared that much as she was sure people that were in the car left the town. So she moved back into the forest and towards her camp.

Back inside the camp, she found Rin doing some strange thing with her shelter.

"Can I ask you what you are doing here?", she asked.

"We can do some upgrades with it, for example, a better bed and a window," Rin said while removing the door from the entrance.

"Also I doubt that you have fun moving this door by force all of the time"

"It's not that heavy you know," Lora said feeling a bit frustrated. This shelter was her home for so long and it reminded her of her father that passed away as well.

"I like this shelter the way it is, I've survived in it for last three years you know"

"There years well that's a long time to be alone," Rin said with a concerned look on his face.

"I wasn't alone all the time," Lora said and paused for a minute.

"My father used to live with me", she said and felt tears gathering in her eyes.

"I am sorry, I probably shouldn't have asked about it", Rin said, there was some regret visible on his face.

"Well you didn't know about it so it's understandable", Lora said while trying to hold her tears.

"But I would like this shelter to remain how it is, it's kind of important for me".

Rin looked at Lora and nodded in agreement.

"How was your trip? I can see a strange bag full of clothes, I thought you were going to get water?",

"I've decided to look around a couple of houses to see if there was anything useful for us he is a camp, and I found some clothes for myself since I've needed an update for quite a while", Lora said smiling, and then she remembered what happened after she found clothes and her smile suddenly disappeared.

"Did something happened while you were there? You seem to be a bit nervous." Rin said.

"Well I just remembered what happened last time I went there, that's all," Lora said knowing well that what she said was a lie.

"I will go out to look for some trails, I want to practice some more," Lora said trying to get out of Rins sight so he couldn't ask more questions.

What she wasn't expecting was that two more eyes were watching them.

"Seems like we found you hunter"
