The shock

It was a full moon that night and these were the times that the werewolf demonstrated their characteristics. It was like their personal feast. Full moons are rare occurrences and in most situations, they are celebrated as important festivals. No werewolf is to neglect a full moon. When a werewolf is given birth to, they are injected with the ability to switch between being humans and Wolves but not on a Full moon. For every Full moon, some Rituals are performed and no werewolf is expected to have their birth or have contact with water or any liquid for the few hours that the full moon lasts. It is a consecration for preservation and Security by the Moon gods. For that night after their dinner, the full moon was well-blown, different from the ones that she had ever seen. It simply meant a special occasion. For humans, it meant simply nothing but for the wolves, it was heavily celebrated. “The water is ready for your bath, then…." “No, I won't be taking my bath tonight…" Bella cut in sharply. “Why"? “The weather is so cold already.."She answered smartly, hoping to escape the setup. “Ooh, Okay" Alex usually sets his trap at midnight. He believes that is the best time to catch a game. The door creaked open quickly as he went out gently trying not to wake his visitor. The moon was so full and for him as a human, he enjoyed the brightness it brought to his path as he walked. Listening to birds sing melodiously and watching trees dance rhythmically to the movement of the wind made him smile and he was sure that the next morning was going to give him a good catch. The clock ticked loudly as he walked by, not forgetting to lock the door. The walk was longer than usual. He planned to use the game he would catch to celebrate his annual Festival as the greatest hunter. The Annual Festival of the King was coming up in three days and as it was in his tradition, he must honor the King so he had to walk the miles to the loneliest path in Zumba to place his trap. The Aluminum cup made some sulky sound as he used it to fetch from the clay pot as if the cup didn't want him to use it to drink water. “Aah,...Water is Life" He said to himself exhaling deeply with the satisfaction of a quenched thirst. The cup was placed mistakenly near the mattress and without his awareness, rolled slowly onto the mattress in slow movement and touched Bella. The progressive smoke of the fire that emitted from her eyes scared him as she Jerked up immediately at the feeling of the water. She had begun to change to her original state. It was a full moon and she just had contact with water. She let out a scream like a wolf producing smoke all over her body and the fur covered her skin. Alex looked in surprise mouth gaped as he reached for the door, the only reason he didn't escape was because he was brave. Bella couldn't help the reaction from that incident and she wished that it never happened. “Who exactly did you say that you are…?" Alex asked in bewilderment. I am sorry for not letting you know all these days. Bella said to Alex after he realized she wasn't human “Our Relationship and Love are Forbidden and you know it, You are a Wolf and I'm human, I should have nothing to do with you, it is against tradition. It is……. “Shhhhhhhhh, I know, I know all of that but you love me and I love you too, that's all…." Bella interrupted Sharply. Alex looked into her eyes holding her fingers in a way that depicted assurance. “I know, I'm only worried. Your father is the Alpha, this is an abomination. I love you already and I can't help it" “But why did you hide this reality from me?" Alex asked. Bella looked into his eyes without saying a word as if he expected him to read her answers from her eyes. “I love you, Bella, I hope we will be able to fight for this love," Alex said. “I love you too" "When will you be going back to your father's castle? Alex asked "Early tomorrow morning" "Alright, that's fine"
