The boy slowly rose to his feet, his arm appearing to have not had any damage and his face painted red with blood. He looked down, checking over his body, then to the direction his younger brother had run off to. Without hesitation, the boy began to run, hoping that he would run into his younger brother.
The man stood still, fear taking control of his body.
Crow turned to the shadowed figure, “so you didn’t do a single thing?”
“No, I healed your wounds but I didn’t have enough power to actually take control of your body yet.”
“Did you even speak to me?”
“I did. Wanna know what you said?”
Crow nodded in response, nervous.
“You said no. That your only goal was to distract him from your brother.”
Crow smiled, “yeah I guess I would say that.” He had calmed down a bit and began following his younger self yet again.
Chapter 17
The younger Crow had run as far as his skinny legs could carry him. He collapsed on the floor, face-first. Tears had begun streaming down his face.
The older crow knelt down next to his younger self, attempting to wipe the boy’s tears. His fingers went through the boy’s face, almost as if he was touching a hologram, as the shadowed figure walked up to Crow.
“This is but a memory, you can’t do anything to change what has already been done.” He reminded Crow.
“Just what happens now?” Crow asked the shadowed figure.
“Watch.”
Shortly after a car drove up to the boy. It stopped beside him, a door opening. What came out shocked Crow. A blonde man wearing white, white wings attached to his back.
I guess if Demons live in the world why not Angels too.
Only there was a certain feeling he couldn’t shake off when he saw the Angel. It felt as if it wasn’t real.
“Can you filter out my imaginations?”
“So you caught that huh? Alright I’ll do just that.”
Just like that, the real man was revealed, Edolas.
