Chris pov

“You’re ready?” Alan the talk show presenter asked me. I’m in a live interview it’s Christmas Eve and my last commitment. Tomorrow I’m a free bird.

“We are back online with the women's and men's favorite actor Chris Blake. Hello Chris welcome”

“Hello, Alan. Thank you for having me” The interview went smoothly and as usual until he asked about my personal life.

“The people dying to know about the photos. We see you with a beautiful redhead girl. Correct me if I’m wrong, we had a lot of time to see you dating. Is something serious?”

“First of all, you’re not wrong. For the last couple of years, I kept a low profile. Secondly, she is special and makes me think about opening up and dating again. The only I can tell you is we match and the time will tell”

“I don’t have to hide something, Alan,” I say and the question continues. After the interview, I’m in my car going to Lily’s apartment to pick her up. I didn’t waste time. She stays at my place tonight. Tomorrow she is leaving for her hometown and we also are two months together and we will have a date inside. I texted her that we were close and when my driver parked outside her building she was already waiting there with her suitcase. Tomorrow morning I will take her to the airport.

“What about Linda? Security?”

“Linda cooked and she has the night off. Security has orders to not enter the house without reason and call first” I say and we enter my bedroom. I put her on her feet and I caress her cheek. “It’s only fair. I’m almost naked and you’re not” she says during the kisses

“I missed you,” I say and it’s true. With her work, I had to see her for three days.

“Yes. I’m starving” she says and when we put some clothes on we walk to the kitchen. She wears one of my T-shirts and she looks so much better on her.

We ate the food that Linda made for us and we talked and we exchanged presents for Christmas.

“It’s nothing much but is with meaning,” she says giving me a box. I open it and I see a cup that is written on it

“Thank you for being my boyfriend if I had a different boyfriend I would punch him in the face and go find you" I read it and I laugh

“It's good to know that,” I say laughing. I give her mine and she opens the small box. Inside is a wood keychain with a design in the shape of a heart. Around it, the phrase is engraved

“A girl took my heart” She looks at me and her eyes are wet.

“It’s beautiful”

“You like it?”

“Of course I like it,” she says and she kisses me. What a simple girl, you don’t need much to make her smile.

After we did the dishes we watched a movie.

The next morning I took her to the airport and it was really hard to let her go. What’s wrong with me?

“I’ll be back before you know it,” she says. I hold her still in the car in my arms.

“Chris,” she says and she looks at me

“I’m going to miss you too but I have to go. You will go see your parents too and the days will pass. Don’t worry” she says and she gives a long sensual and passionate kiss.

“Something to hold you as long I’m away,” she says and exits the car. I watch her until she is out of my view. I believe more and more every day that I’m falling hard for this woman.
