What is truth and what is reality?

"Wait! What are you talking about Maria?" Cassandra asked. "We have alot that we need to tell you now as you have been found and are in danger." Luke stared at her blankly. "YOU mean I am in danger from that guy at the bar? The one that threatened to kill me? We already knew that." Cassandra rolled her eyes at him. 'No, this isn't Jakes work. He wouldn't do something and run away. He would look you in eyes as he killed you. This other person was someone else" Luke said angerly."When I find out who it is and all who was envolved I will enjoy bathing in their blood" Lukes eyes was swirling with black and green. "Alpha, we need to find this threat to our Luna first."Blake's deepened voice rang out. Luke took a calm breath and just nodded his head. "That's the second time you have called me Luna. What is that?" Cassandra asked and felt three pairs of eyes staring at her. "We are wolf shifters and when we find our mates its a soul bond.That takes control over body and soul." Luke explained rubbing small cirlcles on her hand. "You got to be joking me. Shifters are not real. They are just stories that people make up." Cassandra Laughed. "Maria, please take me home. I don't want to be around these two insane men." "Tell her!" Luke commanded Maria. Maria turned towards him with daggers coming out of her eyes "Don't try to use your Alpha command on me, as it will not work mutt." There was a deep growling from both Luke and Blake. "Maria, please tell me your not playing along with this. Your my best friend. This isn't the time for jokes or pranks." Cassandra said to her friend angerily. "I'm sorry I haven't told you sooner but you didn't need to know." Maria said looking defeated. "We have laws in place that literally prevent us from tellling outsiders." "What are you trying to say? Are you one of them too?" Cassandra said pushing away from her best friend. "No!" Maria laughed. "I am most defiently not one of them. I am what you could call a Witch." It was Cassandras turn to laugh. "Yeah, yeah we all know how you can be when you don't eat or get enough sleep." "That's true" her friend told her. "I really am a witch. I can prove it too you. Think of something you really want and don't say it out loud. " all of a sudden a pint of cookie dough ice cream appeared out of no where. "That don't prove anything you know my favoriate type of ice cream." Cassandra said not impressed at all. "Okay how about this. She waved her hands in a circle over and over and a blue light appeared and she opened what looked to be some small type of portal. Maria reached in and pulled out a gold skelton key diamond accented necklace. The portal disappeared. Cassandra instantly grabbed the necklace "hhow? I I I never told anyone about this necklace. It was my mothers. I haven't seen it since the night of the accident." She could feel the tears rolling down her face. She had been her tenth birthday. They was going on a very special trip her mother and father told her. They was going really fast. She could hear her mother yelling at her father to hurry up that they was following them and they needed to get somewhere safe. As her father went as fast as his car could go they never seen the train and crashed. Cassandra never understood how she had survived the wreck. She was found by Maria in the near by woods. She was bleeding but that was all. she had called out for help but it was like no one could hear her. "How did you find me that night?" she asked Maria. My tribe protect cetain people or bloodlines you might say. I didn't know why or what was happening. I was eating with my family when I felt the calling that someone I loved deeply was in trouble. All of a sudden a portal had opened up and my mother had explained that I was needed to keep my "Family" safe. I stepped thru the green portal and after a few minutes I found you. You was all cut up and brused but your mother had used her magic to transport you somewhere safe and only I could get thru the barrier to keep you safe. So, that's what I did I knew you was important but the instant connection to you was strong. It was like finding a family member i didn't know I had. However, there was something different about you and your aura that I couldn't and still can't figure out. I put a spell on you to hide your aura until the time you would need it and my dear friend I am afarid now is the time." Everyone sat in slience for a minute. "Say something please" Maria begged. "I don't know what to think. Maybe i'm still in a dream or maybe i'm unconcious. This feels real though. This necklace you never knew about feels so real. Am i dead or alive?" Cassandra replied to herself. "This is very much real" Luke said and I know you have had alot dropped on you at once but i need you to understand all of me. Don't be afarid my wolf won't hurt you and he is dying to come out." "You got to be kidding me! A wolf a real wolf now I know i'm still asleep." All of a sudden a green haze appeared around him and all of sudden there was a sound breaking bones and ripping clothes. Where Luke had big stood a Huge black wolf that's shoulders was at least five feet tall and it had the greenest eyes. It slowly lowered it head and nudged Cassandra hand with it's mussle. It looked over it's shoulder to blake and nodded and blake had a grey arua around him. The sound of bones breaking was repeated and the clothes he had one fell to the floor in pieces. a grey and white wolf with white paws stood in behind the black one. This wolf shoulders was only about four and a half foot tall. His golden eyes looked at Cassandra nodded and bowed it's head before it laid down. The black wolf also did a slight bow and laid in front of her staring at her and cassandra could swear it was looking into her soul. "Umm, Okay wolves." Cassandra said not know what to say or believe. Cassandra looked around at the two wolves and her friend who was a witch. She felt the room closing in. "Breathe" She said to her self. "Wow" she said out loud. I feel plain and ordinary compared to all of you. Why is it that people are wanting to kill me?" Cassandra asked locking eyes with everyone in the room. The Black and Grey wolves got up and went to another room where the sound of bones breaking sounding again. Then Luke and Blake appeared wearing new clothes a few minutes later. "We are not excatly sure" Maria said. "My wolf tried to talk to her but there is some kind of block that wouldn't let us communicate." "That may have been my doing" said Maria. "When I hid her aura it must have hid her essances as well. I can do it but we will need the help of my tribe." Maria said "No." Luke said firmly crossing his muscled tattooed arms. "Until we know who is trying to kill her I will not but my mate in danger." "WAIT a minute.... Mate?" Cassandra said in shock. "Yes, when our souls reconize each other and the ceremony we are Mates." "You mean if she survies the ceremony!" Maria said outraged. Luke looked down and when he looked at Cassandra she could see the saddness and emotions in his eyes. "My first mate died during the ceremony."
