Stuck with a family of haters for life. These people quickly judged her and it has been a couple of years already, yet nothing has changed. Admittedly, her willingness to fight with this group of people is quite low. She can’t go against them, for the sake of her little one, she can hold her peace no matter how long.
Even though her silence is biological and inescapable, there are other ways in which a woman can scream loud enough to make sure ears bleed; to make the undeserving male fall to his knees.
A wonderful thing about this book is that it takes your attention wholly as you look for every sign of the protagonist’s growing displeasure. You can practically feel the emotional discomfort that she’s going through, her helplessness and hate for what her life has turned out to be.
The author mercilessly captivates readers with a perfectly crafted story. Its dramatically slow-burn plot has too many lifts and drops that leave one on the edge of their seat. The unlucky protagonist encounters enemies in many forms. Why do they bother with her?
It is very simple she took a position every woman wants. And, she didn’t even have to do much to get it. Of this fact, she will forever be an eyesore.

Jessica Scott

Jessica was born a mute. She was supposed to be the treasure of her family. Her father always wanted a girl, however, though he loved her, she was a stain on their family. Jessica lived a life hidden from the public eye, a shameful secret of the Scott family. For years it remained this way and finally, disaster struck.
With her parents gone, one would expect the one family she had, her brother, to protect his little sister. No, he instead throws her into a strange man’s bed, effectively ruining her reputation. Jessica gets pregnant and has to marry the man. She becomes Mrs. Ferguson, taking the man and position every woman would kill for.
Nevertheless, it is not as simple or as nice as it sounds. Jessica is unable to shake off the past. How she got the title of Mrs. Ferguson continues to play a role in how she is viewed by everyone. Precisely why she leaves.
Her courage is incredibly admirable considering what she had to go through. I mean, if they didn’t like her, why have her marry their son? To prevent a scandal? For f**k sake, the bastard is already well-known as a womanizer. They know he has a wife; the sluts know he has a wife, yet it is no problem. Basically, they subjected a defenseless woman to three years of public humiliation and disgrace.

Chapter Six
Robert Ferguson is reading a newspaper. Well, not really reading so much as pretending to. Jessica can tell he is putting on a show so he doesn’t have to look at her. She still puts a smile on her face as she presents the gift she had gotten for him.
Lady Cecelia takes the child to the old master, and Jessica follows but is unable to enter the area without permission. She gives her gift for the old master, to Lady Cecelia. When the woman returns, she tells Jessica to go in as the old master requested to see her.
Surprised, Jessica follows. When she stands before the old man, she notices how the warmth he used to look at her child, turns to ice when his eyes landed on her. His only question for her is regarding her husband’s whereabouts. Jessica starts to sign her answer but quickly changes her mode of address when she notices his apprehension.
Chapter Eight
Winson quickly recognizes his father on the television screen and Lady Cecelia applauds him. However, at the side, Jessica cuts herself with the knife in her shock. On the screen, she watched her husband sit beside the worrisome tutor that Lady Cecelia got for her son.
As if it was a trigger, all the subsequent conversations that were had turned to focus on the tutor’s good qualities. Jessica isn’t deluded it clueless: It was quite obvious that these people would rather the tutor be their daughter-in-law than herself.
With the excuse of her son needing to go to bed early, Jessica makes to leave, but Lady Cecelia asks to talk to her. Jessica complies, but the question that proceeds from the woman’s mouth turns her cold.
