(Completed) -Diana's POV- A vast sea. A forest really but a sea of trees. I stand on a cliff looking at the beauty of this world. A world that helps me forget my own sorrow and grief. With a smile, I take a step forward and let myself fall. A fall that most likely would kill a normal human or even a normal supernatural being but that is not the case for me. I am more than what I seem after all. I land safely, just like a cat would, and then I take in a run. My long hair flips as the wind hits it in a wild manner. I feel wild when I run in nature like this. It is a place barely touched by men. I end on a small river bank where the steam is just to my ankles. As I have done often of times before, I lie on the flat rocks as the water passes by me, not caring that I am getting wet. I look up at the sky where my mother shines on me, big and bright. And as I do many times before, I talk to her but she never responds back. Not anymore anyway. "You grace us with your presence yet gift us with your silence. Why, mother?" There is no anger in my words. I have known her to be this way always and I harbor no anger towards her but I almost gasp myself out of existence when finally, she speaks. "Diana...daughter..." "Mother!" "Diana...my favorite and most loyal of my daughters. My creations... my children... they need your help. Help them, Diana. You must go!" I gasp. "Mother?" It has been centuries since I heard her voice but as always, it is like beautiful music. ---A few days later--- I lay eyes on a beautiful golden-eyed man. I haven't seen the likes of someone like him since the four. He is a gifted one. "Yes?" He spews out. "Who are you?" His inquisitive words hold anguish. I can hear it in the vibration of his tone. I can feel it by his aura. The word "kindred" comes to mind. Somehow, it feels like we are the same. We both have been through plenty of sorrow. Putting those thoughts away, I take in a deep breath before I speak. "Shouldn't a gentleman give his name first before asking it from a maiden?" "If there was a gentleman in this room I would say yes but all there is here is me, a tired, bitter, and angry old man." "Old? Hardly." I whisper. "Diana." I say, giving him my name. He stares at me almost as if he dares to hope, but I can see he crushes that spark and bitterly responds. "Marco. What do you want?" ---

I take her off of the wall and throw her on the ground. (I have never treated any female like this.) “Submit... Now!” I growl loud, my wolf is nearly at the surface. She looks at me and her eyes are completely dark. (Her wolf.) Suddenly, she rushes at me and I am shocked, anyone who does that has a death wish. I quickly dodge her and I take her hand pulling her to me, locking her in a choking hold. “Nova stop!” Her sister and Rose shout. Nova just growls. I know she’s not there. She then twists in a way that she gets out of my grip and swings a punch at me but I block it. I rush her and take her by the neck lifting her up and slamming her on the table. I get in between her legs and weigh my body down on her to constrict her movement. "Nova stop!" I shout. "Let me go!" She shouts with her eyes now back to her beautiful light green eyes. He smiles and then starts heading our way. I am now super nervous because this guy is spontaneous. Cole takes a chair in front of me and gets comfortable. "Hey Tin." He gives me a big smile. "Tin?" Leon asks. I narrow my eyes at Cole and I am sure he knows why. He didn't let me get a word in when he kissed my cheek last time and bolted. He smiles knowing exactly what I am thinking. "Oh come on sweet thing. It was just one kiss." He says. "One... kiss?" Leon repeats. I take my fork and point it at him. "You have no permission to do anything like that again... unless I give it to you." He chuckles. "Okay fine. I apologize. But honestly, it's not something I do often to girls I just met. I just... really like you." I lower my fork and start eating because I don't know how to respond to that. But my face does. I feel it heat up. “He kissed you?” Leon asks. And for some reason, I feel like I should be careful because he sounds a bit pissed. “On the cheek.” I say trying to make light of all of it and it really was a light thing. My thoughts stop when Leon is quiet and I feel him scoot closer. Suddenly, his arm goes behind me, over my shoulder but he doesn't touch me. His arm rests on my chair. I feel so small next to him. The guy is so much bigger than me, I feel like I could use him as a blanket. Cole is no different. Cole shifts in his chair in a way that he suddenly looks bigger. (Is he flexing?) He looks at Leon and Leon stares daggers at him. Cole then looks at me with eyes that clearly say "I want you" and I am not sure if it is to get a reaction out of Leon or me. But it's working. I swallow feeling the tensions. The sexual tension between all of us and the angry tension between both of them. Cole then lifts his bottle of water to his lips and while he looks at me, he takes a sip and then winks. My eyes go to Leon's other hand on his lap that starts to turn into a fist. I abruptly get up. "Gotta go. Have stuff to do!" Without looking at them, I take my stuff and leave. (You got to be shitting me. Is this really happening? Two hot guys interested in me?!)

-Completed- … Running... I am running through the woods. My family is in danger... and it’s up to me. It’s up to me to save them. As I run and think of the events that have occurred throughout this last week. I am so distracted that I don’t see when I hit a wall. Or what I think is a wall. I fall to the ground holding my now hurting cheek. I look up and see this giant man peering down at me. He looks older than me by about maybe two to three years. I can’t quite see his face but his eyes... they are darkened, no white in them to be seen. He lifts his nose trying to take my scent. As I lay on the ground I stare at the man with black eyes. I know he’s a werewolf, growing up with his kind made me aware of their features, even in their human form. He circles me slowly watching me. His muscles and sharp features let me know that he is a seasoned wolf, maybe even one with title. “How old are you?” That is the first thing he says to me. His voice is deep, manly, and gives me chills... the good kind. I look at him thinking of my options. Run and I’m ninety percent sure that I’ll be caught by him. Fight him, and completely reveal who I am. Or answer him and bide my time. “Seventeen.” I answer him. He gives a satisfied growl. “What is your name.” He asks next. ... “... Harley.”

I walk out of the bathroom and he's still sitting on the chair. He looks at me and I can see his eyes changing color again. I kind of feel bad cause I know that it's taking a lot of him to hold an Alpha wolf back. He gets up. "Let me check if the food is ready." He says going out of the room. I nod. Once he closes the door behind him, I rush to the window and I open it and look down. (Shit this is high. Three stories maybe? If I don't do this right, I can break my ankle or worst.) I breathe in. "Okay, time for my wolf abilities to be useful." Hera whimpers. "I don't want to go." I ignore her cause it's starting to make me sad too. I lift myself to the window ledge and brace myself. I can see the sun is almost completely down in the distance. "OK, we can do this." I hear the door open behind me. (Shit! Jump!) I landed perfectly and feeling very proud of myself. (Now run, run, run, run.) I bolt into the woods. I would like everyone to note that I have no shoes on. All I had, were my red high heels and I can't run in those. I keep running and my feet hurt so bad. But I'm not slowing down for anything because I can hear someone running behind me, probably Colton. (Shit! shit! shit! shit! shit!) Now I hear multiple steps. (.... did he shift?) (That's cheating!!!) I can't shift because Hera can take control easier in wolf form and she's just going to run straight to him. (Shit! shit! shit! shit! shit!) (Females are faster my ass!! What kind of bull shit do they feed us?) 'He's an Alphaaaa!' Hera says in a singing voice feeling happy. "DO YOU REALLY NEED TO POINT THAT OUT RIGHT NOW, I'M TRYING TO FOCUS!!" I yell at her. (Shit! shit! shit! shit! shit!) I mentally sigh. Well, this was pointless, he's definitely going to catch up to me, but now he's going to be angry. He's on my heel. A few more seconds and he'll catch me. I think fast and make a very sharp turn to my right. He wasn't expecting that and he ran straight not being able to stop. I have a little more distance now which is great but now I'm lost, fatigued and my feet hurt. I keep running and thinking. (A tree! with the momentum that I have, I could climb a tree, and since he's in wolf form-... Oooh never mind he caught me.) I'm splat on the ground with a wolf on my back that weighs a f*****g ton. My lungs burn. I can feel him starting to shift. (He's going to be NAKED ON TOP OF ME!!) I try to lift my body but he weighs it down again. He starts panting. "Do you know how much... " He stops. "How much... I am trying to control myself?" He's breathing hard. "Do you know how hard it was to keep control... during wolf form just now?" He says. "It's all for you because I don't want me, or Lucien to... " He groans. "...to hurt you." Everything he just said, he said it without any anger in his voice. I could only feel the struggle. He speaks again. "I... I'm sorry... I can't hold out much longer..."

{This is the third book of the series Amber eyes. I recommend you read the first two so you don’t feel lost.} In the third book, you will read about Sasha. May's half-sister. -Sasha POV- “Keep running Christian!” I shout. I look back as we run and see those big red eyes in the distance following us. We run as fast as we can but we can hear it getting closer. “Sasha! Get behind me!” Christian shouts. He stops and turns around and I quickly do as he says knowing what he is about to do. His blue eyes light up and glow an electric bright blue. He lifts his hands up as the beast gets closer. . Christian focuses on the beast and blue fire ignites on its fur. The beast yelps and whines in pain, violently shaking around erratically trying to put the fire out but then it collapses. I feel relief and then quickly hold Christian knowing that he is going to collapse in exhaustion like he always does when he uses his powers. He slops down and loses consciousness. I carefully put him down and get closer to the burning carcass of the beast. It is big, very big. I sigh. “How can there be more? How is that even possible?” I sigh again and go to Christian. I pick him up. “Goddess! He is heavy.” I grunt out. He’s only thirteen but he is bigger than most kids his age. Gaia, my wolf, growls at me unapprovingly. “If you’d train a bit more, maybe we wouldn’t be this weak.” I roll my eyes. I start to walk with Christian on my back, holding his arms around my neck. “Uh, maybe we could shift and you could carry him?” I ask Gaia. She doesn’t say anything. I swear I could feel her giving me the middle finger if she had any. She is feisty and demanding. I suck it up and keep walking. Hopefully, we'll get back to the packhouse before we encounter another horrible beast. After a few minutes, I catch that nasty scent again and can hear growling in the distance. I sigh. "But of course I am not that lucky."

I close my eyes and take a deep breath feeling warm and comfortable. ‘I can smell her scent.’ I say to Cyprian. ‘Yea, I like her scent... but... isn't it very strong right now?’ He says. I quickly open my eyes when I feel movement next to me and I am shocked when my face is met with blond hair. River lies cuddled up next to me in bed. I stare at her sleeping face for a few seconds. ‘She must have crawled in our bed in the middle of the night.’ I say. I continue to just stare at her. ‘She is so cute.’ Cyprian says softly. My hand automatically lifts up and I caress her soft cheek with my finger. My eyes then fall on her lips and the urge to kiss her is strong. ‘Maybe she won’t notice?’ Cyprian says encouraging me to do it. ‘... maybe.’ I say. I slowly lean in and when my lips almost touch hers grazing her lips, her eyes open.

He shakes his head. “I don’t know, we just walk till we find Luke... hopefully it will be Luke.” (I really don’t like the way he said that.) We start walking and there are many doors in these halls. We open some of them and they are all bedrooms. All of them look the same, same decoration, same furniture, the furniture is even at the same spot in every room. We decide to stop checking the rooms but we call out for Luke as we go. It seems like a few minutes pass but then I catch a scent. I cover my nose feeling nauseous. “What is it?” Zack asks. “Something smells horrible. It’s like something rancid.” I gag feeling like I am about to throw up. We go around a corner and that’s when we see it. A horrifying humanoid looking creature. Zack and I look at each other with wide eyes and then look back at the creature. We take a few steps back and hide behind the corner wall. “What the hell is that?” I mouth out to Zack. “I have no idea.” He whispers not sounding so sure. We start walking back but then we hear someone running through the halls. We see Luke come from the corner running looking panicked and out of breath. He runs in the direction of the creature and comes to an abrupt stop when he sees him. The creature, as if it was activated by the sound, moves its arms and swings at Luke. We watch in horror...

COMPLETED AND FREE TO READ -Helix POV- I walk through the halls of the school and my eyes go wide as a mixed scent hits me. I walk fast trying to catch up to it but I am also confused. There are two strong scents. I now nearly run desperately trying to find the source. I stop when I see Rose. (I always knew she was my mate.) But something isn't right. I want to run to her but I have to stop myself. She looks at me. “Mine” “Mine” Rose says and we both look at the girl next to her who said the exact same thing. (This can’t be!) They look at each other ready to kill one another. (Oh... fuck me.)

Tinsley and I walk over to the pool and sit on the edge with our legs in the water. The guys swim and play around. It is relaxing and definitely something we all needed. From time to time I look at Connor, especially when he climbs out of the pool and his body glistens with the water dripping down his abs. The guys—who are a bit riled up now—come out of the water and stand on the edge of the pool side by side. “Na, whoever jumps the furthest, wins.” Leon says. “They are such kids right now. It’s cute.” Tinsley says to me and I laugh, agreeing. “We are going to have a problem here because the three of them are werewolves. I’m sure there will be no winners at the end.” I say and we laugh again as we watch them. Suddenly, our laughing stops when the guys stand completely naked. We watch as their clothes burn away, almost as if they disintegrate. “What the hell?!” Tinsley shouts. I gasp. Sausages and meatballs! We see it all and I almost scream. The guys, unaware of what has happened to them, look at us and they also gasp. I feel a draft and when I look down, we are also completely naked. I scream and jump in the water as I try to cover myself. Tinsley follows doing the same. My head comes out of the water but I feel so embarrassed. The guys now noticing that they are also naked, they put their hands over their main course meal. “What the f**k!?” Cole shouts. “What happened?! What is going on?!” Tinsley screams. Suddenly, a very pissed-off Aurora walks out of the hotel room in our direction with Ezekiel behind her. “Amy!” She shouts. I look at her completely scared because I have never seen her this angry.

-Completed- -Dakota POV- My eyes rapidly blink at him. “WHAT!” I shout after almost a long minute of silence as I tried to process what he had just asked. People around us look at us but he stays calm. “I want you to be my girlfriend.” He says. I am about to cry. My nerves have spiked and I really feel like crying. (What is he saying!) “But... don’t you have a girlfriend already?” “What? What girlfriend?” His eyebrows come together in confusion. “I don’t know. That girl you sometimes hang with. The one with black hair and a punk style.” “Cadance?” He asks. “That’s my sister's friend.” “I don’t know? I don’t know her name.” “Cadance is not my girlfriend... she just... wants to be.” He says. (Oh... so he is single.) “It’s not her I want.” He says and gives me an intense stare. He is killing me here. My heart is going a hundred miles an hour right now. “Dakota.” He says waiting for an answer. I shake my head now agitated. “Why?” I ask. “Because... I want you.” (AAAHHH!! What is he saying!!) This is the bad boy of campus. The guy people are terrified of just by hearing his name. With just one look at the way he looks, even people that don’t know him run away. So why does he want me, a nerdy nobody who looks like a plain Jane? “But why!?” I ask again. “I just told you... because I want you.” He says. “I know what you said but why... why do you want me?” “Because...” He leans in. “... you are mine.” (… he... is crazy, isn’t he?)

I look back at my empty bed. “This sucks-” I am interrupted by knocks on the door. My body moves by itself. I quickly open the door and find Kingston leaning on the door frame with his arms crossed, looking at me. I can see that he has taken a shower and has his new clothes on. He smells fresh. For a few seconds, we just stare at each other. Neither of us says a thing. “Are you... is your room... good?” He asks but his blue eyes say something else. I nod, unable to speak. My mouth has gone dry, and my breathing has started to quicken. He nods back but his lips part and they tremble. I want him. In a swift movement, his lips crash on mine.

Hera claws at him but he dodges, she looks back at her real target but Matt gets in front, Colton goes to our other side still in human form. Hera growls at them. I yell, and then I feel someone slap me. I look up with tears streaming down my face and finally notice the Luna, she is looking at me pissed. I look around the room and everyone is looking at me in shock,d except for Alpha Cristian, who has a bloodied nose and looks at me like he can't believe what just happened. I roll my eyes and yawn feeling tired. "Well you came for no reason, I'm going to sleep." "That's even better, I can guarantee you that in my arms you'll sleep ten times better." (Yea and fall into your trap, I think not. I know exactly how to get you out.) I open the door and Nala runs in jumping on the bed, one look at Hunter and she starts hissing at him. "LIL! That's not fair." He says sprinting back to the window with Nala running after him. He climbs out but sticks his head in. "Fight me all you want Lil, but you are mine." He blows a kiss and jumps down. I panic and run to the window but the asshole is fine and I sigh in relief. Before he gets inside the car he turns to me and gives me a cocky smirk. "He is persistent."
