How do you survive a demon who hates you, but still married you? This question burns right through each page of this piece. Lock You In My Heart will make you speechless, whether, from anger or amusement, only you will know.

Anger, for me, is seeing an innocent woman suffer because of the impulsivity of another male. And, said male seemingly does not care. It just becomes even more disheartening when it’s her brother. Amusement on the other hand is because of the brazenness of the male species. In fact, it’s better to call it shamelessness.

One woman cannot bear this crap for long. Fortunately, It’s Gabrielle we’re talking about. She is unable to voice her displeasure because she brought this problem into her life. All six foot two of it. The man is relentlessly at her heel.

No, we should call him a demon like everyone else does. He couldn’t find anybody else who would take the blame for the situation, therefore Gabrielle would do. It’s unfair to blame an innocent woman for something that occurred between two people in a relationship.

Part 1: Plot Summary of Lock You In My Heart

The story follows Gabrielle. She is put in hot water because of her brother’s actions. He ran away with the fiancé of Westley Morris, and now she has to bear his wrath on her own. Every day, he doesn’t forget to remind her of what her brother did.

And, he does it with disgust written all over his face. It’s actually the only expression he allows himself around her. Gabrielle doesn’t mind much, but his cruelty made her afraid. She grows frantic each day that goes by without a word from her brother.

No, the coward left his sister to die in the hands of the Demon. It doesn’t come unexpectedly because that is how things have basically been all along. Gabrielle wasn’t related by blood, therefore she was treated like trash. Her family practically disregards her because she is adopted.

Westley’s mother disliked Gabrielle with a passion from hell, and she didn’t bother hiding it. With explicit threats every time they meet, she reminds Gabrielle that she does not belong to Westley, and is basically filling in for the original person.

Honestly? how laughable. The woman continues to turn the situation into a conspiracy by the Jones family. Gabrielle can only hold herself back and be subservient, even if she felt bitter about the total swerve of her life.

He ignores her pain and discomfort, laying his resentment on her every chance he gets. He states that she will get to leave once his fiancé returns to his side. Gabrielle, however, quickly understands that a man could choose not to enforce their agreement. This is because a strange thing occurred. Was it reluctance or was it pride? Whichever one it id, Westley still decided not to let her go.

Part 2: Main Characters of Lock In Your Heart

Gabrielle

She is a hardworking woman. She was adopted into the Jones family and the stigma of adoption seems to follow her everywhere. Gabrielle is serving punishment for her brother’s recklessness. She married Westley Morris to avoid even more problems, especially to keep her family safe.

Gabrielle doesn’t know how to proceed with this life. Her husband couldn’t stand the sight of her, she had to endure a loveless marriage. Her life was at stake, and she could not afford to anger the irritable man. She has to bear so much pain to ensure that the man does not think of hurting her people. A people who adopted her, but treated her like trash.

Westley Morris

Called “The Devil” by most, Westley is a handsome man with a limited temper. His reputation precedes him and everyone acknowledges his ruthless nature. He is abandoned by his fiancé on their wedding day, and it’s all the fault of Bryce Jones.

Knowing that he had limited options to remedy the situation, he threatens a woman to be his wife or suffer the consequences. This woman is Gabrielle. He married her because there was no time to do otherwise.

Part 3: Amazing Chapters from Lock You In My Heart

Chapter One

Gabrielle awakens to find the cold gaze of her demon husband on her face. She moves in fear, but he reminds her that the room belongs to both of them. They were married the previous night, however, Westley only came in that morning.

Due to her attitude, Westley painfully reminds her of why she married him in the first place. He asked if she had called her brother and Gabrielle replies in the negative. She holds back tears as the conversation persists, but when he leaves, the floodgates are opened.

Just three days prior, Westley and his men broke into the Jones residence. They had stated that Bryce had run away with Westley’s fiancée, Nellie Collins. And based on these facts, Westley had offered two choices, one was that they find Bryce and bring Nellie back to him. The second was to have Gabrielle marry him. Without any sign of Bryce for two days, Gabrielle’s fate was sealed.

This day, Westley was taking her to visit the elders.

Chapter Three

Before they reach the Morris mansion, Westley instructs Gabrielle on how to act. Deciding to be brave for once, she asks him directly why his fiancée would run away before the wedding. By the end of that conversation, however, Gabrielle realizes her naivety: she wanted to make the man feel vulnerable, but in the end, she only succeeded in increasing her fear.

Subsequently, as she entered the residence, Gabrielle nearly fall due to the troublesome heels. She’s saved by an old friend, Austin. He turns out to be related to the family. like this, the whole visit is nearly tense because of Westley’s dislike of her closeness to Austin.

When Austin notices the problem with Gabrielle’s footwear, he fishes out the gift he’d prepared for him. Not wanting her to feel weird, he tells Gabrielle that the new shoes belong to his sister. The shoes, might I add, are the same ones Gabrielle wanted after trying them on in a shop a while back.
