Two remarkable events took place in Betrayed By An Alpha Claimed By A Lycan King Chapter 7.
The first was the coming of age and the moon goddess granting Sage her wolf, while the next was the time arriving for Sage to be taken to the Lycan King.
On the first occasion, Sage prepared and looked forward to meeting her wolf for the first time. It was supposed to be a joyful experience for Sage knowing fully what the claiming of her wolf would yield her but in the contrary, Sage did not meet her wolf.
Her ceremony was held in a grand manner as would any other ceremony. Sage was not the only person involved to meet her wolf, there were about three others apart from her.
However, at the appointed time, the others shifted to their wolves while Sage was left desperately seeking for her wolf’s arrival. Eventually, the ceremony was over and she did not receive her wolf.
Sage faced humiliation and bullying in the hands of her pack’s Alpha, and was told to hide the fact that she did not have a wolf yet.
Moving forward, Sage was to be taken to meet the Lycan King the following day. The Beta of the Lycan King arrived to take Sage away, but there appeared to be delay. Why? What was going on? Was the Lycan King aware that Sage was not the daughter of the Alpha?
After long minutes of delay, Sage was eventually taken away but she discovered that they were not headed to the direction where the Lycan King lived.

They arrived at the mall and Sage was asked to step out of the car. Okay. Why? Sage was still afraid, thinking that the entourage from the Lycan King wanted to execute her inside the mall.
Sage even dared to voice her worries and thoughts but it was all set aside. The Beta of the Lycan King made Sage understand that she was there to ship for a wedding dress. There was no way she would meet the Lycan King dressed the way she was.
It took a lot for Sage to bring herself to select a dress, but as soon as she saw the one that was fit for her, she could not take her eyes off it.
Sage was then taken to the salon for a nice hairdo amongst others. She had to look her best as she would meet the Lycan King in the next couple of minutes.
“Remember, under no circumstances should you raise your head or glance at the King. It is strictly forbidden for brides to see his majesty’s face…” ”
The statement above was a warning from Beta Scot to Sage as they got closer to the Lycan King. Sage nodded, anticipation swelling as she slowly approached the King.

What she thought was that, being a child, the pack had mercy on her and separated her from the treasonable offense of her father. Little did she know that there was a real reason behind her adoption.
Sage lived in her pack as a maid. Well, it didn’t make sense to her why she was treated as such but she had to live with it because she had no other choice. Until she found her wolf, there was nowhere else to go to, so she accepted her fate.
Also, while Sage was being treated in that regard, the Alpha hat had adopted her appeared to be very kind to her. He spoke to her politely and somewhat respected her, causing Sage to believe that the ill treatment did not stem from him.
Now, in the werewolf kingdom, there was the Lycan King whom everyone feared. The Lycan King was fond of having the first daughters of the Alphas across the werewolf territories that he governed. This included the territory and pack where Sage was adopted into.
Now, this is where it got interesting. Sage had been bullied so much at a time in her pack while she waited for her eighteenth birthday. In the very near future, she would have her coming of age ceremony, where she would receive her wolf.
While that was the case, Sage decided to go out one night to the bar and live freely. She intended to drink away her sorrows which she did in the company of her best friend. While Sage was there, she became attracted to a deviously handsome man who was attracted to her in the same vein. They had a one-night stand, and before the break of dawn, Sage ran away.
The man woke up longing for Sage as he had never longed for another woman before. What Sage did not know was that she had just slept with the Lycan King, the man that her pack would give her to that day.
As a matter of fact, that was the reason Sage had left her pack to go drinking. She had discovered the reason that pack had adopted her.
The Alpha of her pack feared giving his daughter to the ruthless Lycan King, so he adopted Sage, aiming to give her to the Lycan King instead. As a matter of fact, he did just that.
The light at the end of the tunnel for Sage would be when she would discover that her world blended well with the Lycan King, and unlike others who were afraid of him, she had no cause to.
Speaking of how Sage had been rejected by an Alpha. In the very pack that she was adopted into, the son of the Alpha had an eye for Sage. As a matter of fact, they shared a bond that was supposedly real until everything changed. Everything changed when the Alpha’s family announced to Sage that she would be taken to the Lycan King.
Sage looked at her boyfriend, hoping to have him throw him a word for her, but he also appeared to be in support of his family. He told Sage that he could not give his sister to the Lycan King, so she had better take her place.

A Lycan King does not even need to be cruel to be feared by ordinary werewolves. The authority and aura that they oozed of was enough to make any werewolf cower at their presence.
