Part 1: Plot Summary of Birth of the Demonic Sword
The story follows Noah who died during an altercation with a gangster group. He was not even part of an opposition, just a passerby. He was killed, then found himself in a darkness that left him with a conscious mind. Days later, he saw a light and that was when he emerged. He was reborn as a bastard son of the Balvan family. He was born with such status and therefore a life of limitations was in store for him. This did not settle well with Noah, however.
He had already endured one lifetime facing the disappointment of his family and amounting to nothing. He had endured human rules for too long and needed to think of a way to get away from these people or at least surpass them and hold ultimate power. That was just about the time he witnessed cultivation happen right in front of his eyes for the first time. He saw his grandfather defeat a dragon, and Noah made up his mind. Cultivation was where it was at.
Over the coming days, Noah did what he could to gain strength so that he could learn about this cultivation. Noah tried extremely hard and, in that effort, surpassed many feats for someone his age. It was only bound to garner the attention and envy of schemers.
Noah wants nothing more than to take his power. This cultivation was something that every individual had on their own. He could no longer leave the Balvan family as he had originally planned, he had a reason to stay. But will he get a teacher?

Noah Balvan
He is a determined male with lots of ambition. The ambition was only going to end with him having a target on his back. Noah expected this. However, was he supposed to hide forever? Definitely Not. But the best way to ensure that they did not suspect him or guard against him too much, was to play the innocent curiosity card.
Noah is an adept scammer. He is able to get as far as the Ice-Fire revolving technique, but that would be useless after he got older. He needed to learn a proper technique. But it would be hard. Noah thought of stealing a technique from the guards, but the requirements for such a thing were too much. Plus, it would mean that he’d have to escape; Noah had made the decision after seeing his mother work so hard to provide him benefits, that he would ensure she lived a comfortable life.
The attachments that he thought he would never have, subsequently snapped into place. As a man in a child’s body, he was able to see clearly, the merits of being born into the Balvan family. Who knew what he would encounter outside?

Chapter Five
Noah carried two large buckets of water to a group of guards sweating under the sun. Noah was doing chores for the soldiers with an endgame in mind: he was searching for other ways to come into possession of cultivation techniques. Noah could clearly picture his mother’s gaze of disappointment when she told him to be careful. He didn’t want to give up and live a wretched life now that he saw hope. He knew how much his mother loved him. It was to the point that she still saw his cruel father. He would always find new bruises on her, yet she always had a smile. He wanted to take care of her.
The soldiers now cursed him out as he was lost in a trance. Noah came to himself and apologized at the same time started to ask for tips. However, his face was seen through. The guard called him out on scamming them. They had been receiving punishment because of the brat.
Noah used a different tactic. He requested a round of combat. The guards were all too pleased to beat him up in the name of combat training. With a steel-blunt saber, he returned to fight one of the guards. The bald man didn’t use weapons as Noah was still just a child.
He attacked, but Noah didn’t dodge the burly man, rather he twisted his left wrist which held the saber. It disappeared only to reappear at his opponent’s neck without him noticing. Noah was satisfied that he’d done the move in real combat. Therefore, he feigned loss. He ended up spitting a mouthful of blood and admitting defeat. But in a place he could not see, two people saw the truth.
