My Lycan Luna follows a story about a meeting between two opposite-gender beings, Colin Knight and Angel Sanders. Colin is the newly-appointed Alpha werewolf of the Obsidian Moon Pack, while Angel has always believed she is a human since she was a child. As a werewolf, Colin can smell that Angel is a werewolf, too, and also his mate.

Angel may be some kind of werewolf species. However, since she’s still 15 years old at the beginning of the novel, she hasn’t shifted yet. Plus, she has some traumatic background that makes her appear different from any other werewolf.

Colin himself has already dated Tara Staton, a she-wolf from his pack, the time he and Xan, his wolf, smell Angel and mark her as his mate.

Tara Staton of My Lycan Luna is always followed by her fellow she-wolf friends, all from the same pack, whose names are Ivory Helms and Karen Grimes. The moment Tara recognizes the closeness between Colin and Angel, his actual mate in My Lycan Luna’s novel, is also the moment when the three she-wolves become the bullies of the story.

Long story short after Colin banishes the three she-wolf bullies, Colin finds that Angel has shifted into a rare Lycan species. From there, the two become even closer as the two share stories about their family histories and many others.

Part 1: Meet The Characters Of My Lycan Luna

Angel Sanders

My Lycan Luna Angel

Angel Sanders of My Lycan Luna has always believed and lived her life as a human. She always wears hoodies to conceal her striking beauty before she encounters Colin. It’s all because of her traumatic childhood experience when she witnesses her mom’s ex-boyfriend kills her mom and her brother in front of her eyes.

Angel of My Lycan Luna hasn’t shifted yet during the first few chapters of the novel, because she was still 15. Her closeness to Alpha Colin and the support systems from Colin’s family actualizes her true power as the surviving Lycan, and also Colin’s Luna.

Colin Knight

My Lycan Luna Colin

Alpha Colin Knight, the main male character of My Lycan Luna, dated Tara before he met Angel, his mate. As an Alpha werewolf, he can smell Angel and mark her as his mate. Even though it’s not stated in the book, I’m sure that he believes his mate is “elsewhere”, so, that’s why, he postpones further relationships with Tara, even though he has known Tara and her two “minions” for so long.

Alpha Colin of My Lycan Luna has a sibling named Trisha. They have two fathers, and their mother is Alpha River, a she-wolf who is frequently mistaken as a male werewolf. Even though Alpha Colin and Trisha’s fathers come from different backgrounds, Alpha Colin is a pure werewolf, which makes him, unlike his sister who is a tri-breed.

The Mean Girls

My Lycan Luna The Mean Girls

The mean girls of My Lycan Luna novel are Tara Staton, Ivory Helms, and Karen Grimes. The mean girls have known Colin since their childhoods, and all of them are already 18 at the start of the novel. These three mean girls and Colin used to be in the same werewolf pack.

Anyways, Tara is their former girlfriend of Colin, and Colin used to date her before he meets Angel. Ivory and Karen are her minions who obediently follow her. The three she-wolves show their face after Colin becomes close to Angel. That moment is also the moment the three she-wolves start to play victim, twist the stories, and even involve their fathers in their problems.

Part 2: Story Of My Lycan Luna

My Lycan Luna Dreame

The story of My Lycan Luna opens up by telling us the stories according to Angel’s POV. When Angel mentions things about her upcoming classes and her school life, we won’t think that this main female character would turn out to be someone more than just an ordinary girl later on.

At first, the only thing I think about Angel is that Colin Knight, the Alpha werewolf with a God-like handsomeness and a girlfriend named Tara Staton, pursues her.

Later on, as I read through the chapters of My Lycan Luna, Angel proves herself to be astute in many ways. She doesn’t care if people around her mistake her hoodie appearance as a guy, she has an excellent body figure and tempting charisma, and she is a great gymnast.

So, Colin practically has all the reasons to pursue Angel, apart from the fact that he and his wolf, Xan, smell her as his mate.

The moment Angel and Colin become close is also the moment when Tara, Colin’s girlfriend, and Ivory and Karen, her two “minions”, show their true faces. Starting from there, in My Lycan Luna, they start spreading false rumors about Angel. Unfortunately, they don’t know who Angel truly is and they have to face punishments from Colin.

After Colin disbands the three mean she-wolves, Angel shifts, and her shifts as a rare Lycan surprises Colin and his families. So, here is where the stories of My Lycan Luna start.

Part 3: The Author Of My Lycan Luna

My Lycan Luna by Clavet

Clavet, the author of My Lycan Luna, is one of Dreame’s authors who has an interesting background. Even though we don’t know if Clavet is a male or a female, we know from Clavet’s bio on Dreame that this author of My Lycan Luna lives in Puerto Rico with a beautiful daughter who has an Autism diagnosis.

It doesn’t matter if Clavet’s daughter has an Autism diagnosis or any others. I can see that Clavet is a parent who loves their daughter dearly.

We can see Clavet’s love for the beautiful daughter, not only in the way Clavet addresses the daughter as “beautiful” instead of any other words (“troubled”, etc, for example) but also in the ways Clavet writes about female characters in the novels.

My Lycan Luna is just one of Clavet’s novels on Dreame’s platform. Clavet has also written several other novels with powerful female characters, such as the Demon Princess, witches, werewolves, and so on.

Then, again, Clavet seems to be an expert in writing fantasy-romance novels. It is through Clavet’s author page on Dreame that we know werewolves are not the only mythical beings in Clavet’s stories.

Even though My Lycan Luna involves werewolves (and also Lycans, werewolves’ superiors), I would say that My Lycan Luna is a story that we can’t forget about. Personally, this is the first time I to read a novel that involves a Lycan Luna instead of a male Lycan. No wonder Clavet becomes one of Dreame’s Next Top Writers.
