The story tells about Ariadna. She dies of a brutal murder and is reincarnated into the body of a newborn baby. Not just any baby, but the baby of the lunatic emperor she read about in a novel. This man is known to have no compassion or mercy, even for his progeny. Ariadna knows it’s just a matter of time before the sick bastard kills her off. In this body, however, she gets to interact with this lunatic and can see the method to his madness.
Daughter Of The Emperor: is a rocky tale that is riddled with conflict and misunderstanding, although very subtle. The story is quite a wonderful spin on the experiences of a single father. Yes, even an emperor can find it awkward to interact with his child. One thing that was so glaringly obvious, was the fact that the man felt at ease talking to the child who could not respond and could only make faces of displeasure or happiness. A father will always be a father, even though a little psycho.
The themes of rebirth, fatherhood, royalty, and happiness, are all spun into a very unorthodox plot. It’s different; warm yet cold; harsh but lovely. I especially enjoy the protagonist’s inner monologue. Her thoughts are so uniquely entertaining. She has heard the rumors; she has also met the man himself. But despite that, she doesn’t lose her wits. Is it because she has read the novel and knows that this man cannot be saved? He even wants her to cry!

Part 1: Plot Summary of Daughter of The Emperor
The story follows Ariadna as she is reborn as the princess and daughter of Emperor Caitel. Originally, it was a happy thing to find out that you were a princess, but this particular type of reincarnation is not the best, considering that her father was that man. The man that the who of Agrigento was afraid of; was a man rumored to have killed all the members of his family, even his children. This man was cold-blooded. Ariadna had felt it the day his eyes met hers for the first time. The handsome man with beautiful eyes was a lunatic. This man was also her father.
After quite a few visits, Ariadna gets quite used to this man. He kept wanting her to cry in his presence, but she never did. Ariadna didn’t know what made it so that she never felt the need to cry. Even when the man teased and prodded her, or when he spread that suffocating murderous intent, Ariadna was always fine. Maybe it was her survival instincts or maybe it was as Serira said, she recognized him as her father. The latter reason is too inconsistent. Whatever it was, Ariadna is probably most thankful because it allowed her to stay alive.
After a few months, however, it became quite apparent that this lunatic king was cold, yes. Ruthless, yes. But there was something more. No one could answer the question of why he had left Ariadna alone. Why didn’t he take her life just like the other children? What was the Cry that Serira had mentioned? Why was the emperor waiting to see what curse Ariadna would bestow on him?
Part 2: Meet the main Characters of Daughter of The Emperor
Ariadna
She is a young woman in the body of a child. Ariadna was brutally murdered, then reincarnated into the novel. Her days are spent eating, sleeping, listening to the gossip (not necessarily in that order, etc. Ariadna is very aware of the man who is her father in this life. He is emperor Caitel, and Ariadna holds no delusions of fatherly love from this man. Everybody was waiting for him to kill her. Ariadna herself was also waiting for him to strangle her.
Ariadna is a mentally strong woman. She makes for a great protagonist, albeit a little too much on the soft side. Yes, I said it. While it is cozy and fun to see this adorable and cut type of protagonist, there is a strain on the inactivity. Nevertheless, this particular characteristic turns out to be the perfect tool to advance the plot, so I will begrudge the author this one time.
Daughter Of The Emperor is such a fluffy type. But you’d never expect that this same fluffy type would also come with drama that will leave you in a bout of tension and alert. The story isn’t just a fun read, the author endeavored to delve far into a vast world where everything was fantastical. A really precious thing is the quietly simple way in which the protagonist forms a strange bond with her father.
Part 3: Cool Chapter from Daughter of The Emperor
Chapter Five
Princess Feylene wanted to hold Ariadna. The person she wanted to hold was shocked. The two of them had no relationship, so there was no reason this woman should hold her. Even Ariadna’s father never held her, only Serira. Despite the nanny’s obvious discomfort, princess Feylene successfully took Ariadna from Serira. It made Ariadna bawl. She writhed in the woman’s arms. Sierra and Elene were shocked to see the usually calm princess like this.
Even with this, princess Feylene did not back down and even hugged Ariadna tightly, causing her immense pain.
Then, the emperor appeared. His presence changed the atmosphere. Princess Feylene paled and Ariadna stopped crying, although she sniffled. The emperor demanded an explanation as to why his princess was crying. Then, he suddenly smiled. Ariadna didn’t know what her father was up to, but she was dazzled by the beautiful smile. The emperor beckoned her to come to him. Ariadna made a choice between the crazy lady and her crazy father; she picked the latter.
She entered his arms and got comfortable. She smiled cheerfully at the man, and he smiled right back.
However, the smile disappeared when he faced the person responsible for Ariadna’s crying.
He demanded for her Agrigent name, but when princess Feylene didn’t respond, her maid did. This angered the merciless emperor, and he had the maid dragged away.
He spoke to Serira, asking about Ariadna’s pacifier. When it was found, dirt coated it completely. The emperor wanted it thrown away. The man commented once again that it was the first time his daughter cried so vigorously.
