The truth is that Olivia’s story got me hooked from the very first chapter. She broke my heart from the beginning as she bravely receives the news of her impeding death.
The fact that she only thinks about her dad’s well-being is endearing, as well as heart-wrenching. And it’s also weirdly disturbing to learn that Ethan once loved and cherished her but became his wife’s personal tormentor due to a misunderstanding.
The author of Even After Death managed to create an intricate story, with multiple plot twists that will literally astonish you. The culprit who did nothing wrong, the criminal who isn’t a criminal at all, the lost sister who comes back alive and well and the baby who actually survived are mere examples of the many turnarounds that you’ll experience while reading this beautiful book.
Olivia is a badass heroine. She is on the brink of death, yet she recovers and manages to dominate all the people who wronged her. And, even though Ethan is also one of those people who get to experience her wrath, he will take her side and punish her enemies alongside his ex-wife.
Talk about coming around! Ethan is Olivia’s worse enemy and her best friend altogether. He punishes her, yet no one else is allowed to touch or torment her. He saves her, yet he doesn’t want her to know. It looks confusing, yet, as the story progresses, all makes sense, I promise. So, don’t hesitate to read this story.
