Knowing that The Heavenly Demon Can’t Live A Normal Life was a manhwa adaptation, I find it quite engaging as it provided a steady and enjoyable reading experience. No wonder, even though it was such a long read, a lot of bookworms were still able to complete it. All in all, the 615 chapters were all worth it to read whereas the first part had 465 chapters and the second part comprised 150 chapters.

Honestly, from a binge-reader’s point of view, this novel allows me to realize ideals. The scenes were not so draggy, enriched with the important parts of the plot. Another thing that caught my attention was the story flow. It was understandable enough that the main protagonist was able to outshine the rest of the characters. No sense of confusion was given to me as I headed to the succeeding chapters of the story.

An unusual and profound blow got me hooked, especially during the moment when the turning point occurred in the life of the main character. The innate uniqueness in each scene and action-packed encounters wrapped this all up in precision. Plus, the uncontrollable predicaments heightened the excitement.

Moreover, this fantasy adventure book promotes healing the inner soul. The inspiration of becoming the best version of yourself was reflected in the life of Roman. And by diligently writing this, the author assured its readers that it would be a great deal, given the fact that it was systematically conceptualized, from the narratives down to the characters. Overall, it was a brilliant novel, one of my all-time faves!

Part 1: Astonishing Characters and Highlights of The Heavenly Demon Can’t Live a Normal Life

The Heavenly Demon Can't Live a Normal Life' Part 1 Background and Characters

The main hero of The Heavenly Demon Can’t Live a Normal Life was none other than Baek Jung-hyuk. He was a spirit who possessed the human body of Roman Dmitry, the eldest son of the Dmitry clan.

However, amidst the aristocracy that Roman had, he was considered a weakling and was neglected by his own father, Romero Dmitry. Ugly, fool, and useless, were the words thrown at him. Yet, those negative things could not be compared with the inner side of his persona.

Things changed when Baek Jung-hyuk entered and controlled his body. Roman became stronger than ever and when it comes to war he never backed down. Hans, the servant, at first could not believe what happened as soon as he grabbed a dagger and cut the tongue of their opponent. It was such a brutal encounter that astounded the entire village. They could not believe how Roman could do such a horrifying act without any hesitation.

Roman stood up from the crowd and announced that whoever breaks the law will pay with blood. And right after the fight, he uttered that the body he was possessing was nothing but trash. Because being the ruler of Murim mainly the Heavenly Demon Cult, Baek Jung-hyuk used to kill hundreds of people and handle his area with such dignity and power.

The Heavenly Demon Can't Live a Normal Life' Part 2 The Most Exciting Plot

As soon as Baek Jung-hyuk’met Kevin in the succeeding chapters of The Heavenly Demon Can’t Live a Normal Life, he felt like he had a new purpose in life, a new perspective. It was the moment when he also knew about the daughter of the Lawrence family named Flora. Hans was the one who told him the entire story behind the arranged marriage.

The Lawrence family wanted the money while the Dmitry clan wanted to build a great connection with a reputable bloodline like them.

However, during the glamorous woman’s visit to the Dmitry estate, Baek Jung-hyuk was astounded when she said that she wanted to stop their marriage. It was the main reason why she headed to their territory, to break their engagement which was made a month ago.

Flora was not interested in having a husband who was ridiculed by people as a fool. She also thought that the man was ugly and unattractive.

But as she was showing her disgrace to the marriage agreement, she was immediately surprised by Roman’s answer. He said yes to her request, showing that he was not bothered at all. Because for him, her beauty and grace were only limited to her outside appearance, nothing more than that.

So far, The Heavenly Demon Can’t Live a Normal Life was a book that I can recommend to my friends who wanted to learn something in life while entertaining themselves during their free time. Baek Jung-hyuk’s character was indeed a golden one.
