Haena loved to read. After she returned home from work every evening, she read a book. She’d bought a new one on her way back this very day, and after dinner, showering, and brushing her teeth… she lay on her bed and went lost in her favorite book.

The room was vast and could have been the size of her entire apartment as it was. Even her dress was different, she was in a silky night dress and instead of night, it was morning.
The sun rays broke in through the French windows as they were covered with beautiful transparent drapes. She could see the blurry detail of a beautiful garden from the distance. She recognized her environment at once.
She had been summoned into the book she was reading. She slowly paced around the large room, examining objects and the vast walk-in closet, and realized she was in Duchess Roselia Chade – the stepmother of the villain in her favorite story.
Which meant she was Duke Carcuis Chade’s new wife. She understood that their wedding must have been yesterday since she just woken up at the private castle of the Duke. The Chade family was the terror of their time, they were known to be the movers and the shakers of society and the richest family of their time.
Haena was thinking this thought and remembering the villain of her favorite story, of whom now, she was his mother. A knock came on the door and when it opened, it was Einspanner Chade – her stepson, who came in.
He was so cute and innocent that Haena began to think why he was heartless in the book. He was yet a child though, therefore, Haena decided she would change things and raise Einspanner to be a good boy.
She thought he grew up evil because his original stepmother was heartless and abusive to him. Einspanner also killed his stepmother in the book, Haena hoped he wouldn’t need to do that if she succeeded in raising him right.
She began to have breakfast with him, she was returning from the dining the next morning when she met her new husband – Duke Carcuis Chade.
