I Love You, Miss Genius novel is all about Bonnie Shepherd and her achievements as the youngest researcher.
The novel introduced us to Bonnie who was faced with rejection by her fiancé Hadwin. Despite their marriage being arranged by her grandparents, Hadwin had picked Trina over Bonnie.

At a very young age she had managed to work on new carbon nano material which would revolutionize the City of Pyralis. She was popularly known as Ms. Bonita.
However, her talent was unknown to her family. Bonnie kept a very low profile. Oftentimes, she was called a liar for sharing her experiences. She had traveled around the world and was considered a treasure of Arvandor.
Despite all the excellence career wise, she was considered unwanted and an outcast by her mother Vera Shepard. Her love life was no special. Her fiancé Hadwin accused her of cheating as he proposed to her sister Trina.
But Bonnie’s life changed when she met Ivor. The main character traits of Bonnie were straightforward, intelligent, and powerful.
Ivor Knight

I Love You, Miss Genius male lead, Ivor Knight was a chess genius. He was the grandson of Sigmund Knight. Ivor was arrogant and ambitious. His character held a charm despite his rude behavior.
Ivor was asked to marry Bonnie Shepherd. But he failed to realize her true identity. He underestimated Bonnie for her talent, but soon fell for her intelligence and honest behavior.
