She was pretty, but not too pretty, but even at that her beauty radiated grace and turned the head of a few boys who could manage to take a break from staring at the chair leaders.
She was from a lower-class family, she was sure that she couldn’t be the kind of girl to attract the attention of the great Qin Chu of the Chu family. He was constantly present in Huo Mian’s shadow, he wouldn’t take no for an answer and no matter how Huo Mian tried to push him away she couldn’t succeed.

They were sent out of their little Victorian bungalow in the nice area of the city, and driven to the dirty outskirts of town.
Huo Mian was not only torn in her body, she was also torn in her heart. In this manner, the years flew by. Huo Mian refused to attend big universities and chose to go to a local nursing school.
She graduated and got a job in the city as a resident nurse. She even met a man at the university who was studying to be a doctor. Together they began to build their lives together. Seven years passed and she was never able to forget about Qin Chu.
They were going to buy a house together and then begin to plan their marriage when Huo Mian’s old high school teacher called her to personally invite her to the class reunion. And to her surprise, Qin Chu was back in the country and was in attendance with her old teacher.
