Max Talent Player by Vichu is an action system type of book, set in a post-apocalyptic alternate world where systems and monsters exist. The book is focused on Kim Hyukjin, a talentless citizen who finds himself mysteriously transported back in time before the apocalypse.

The book has the following tags: System, Romance, Action, Adventure, Transmigration, and Wizards. The book is rated mature because of its intense gore scenes.

In the year 2028, the existence of systems, dungeons, safe zones, players, guardians, and monsters has become a normal sight – such that not having talent as a player has nearly become a death sentence, as it drastically reduces the survival rate of an individual.

Some guardians were even known to be indifferent to people without talent.

This was why it saddened Kim Hyukjin that he was talentless in a world like this. He blamed it on his hard luck that his talent was only discovered in his thirties, of which it had depleted and it was almost of no use now.

Trying to come to terms with that, Kim Hyukjin was also unlucky that he couldn’t even seem to pass his exams for some unseen mysterious reason, and it left him and his family rotting in penury.

When it seems that all hope is lost, Kim Hyukjin is lucky to find a glimpse of light at the end of the tunnel as he mysteriously finds himself waking up to the past – ten years ago, a few moments before the apocalypse that ravaged the world, changing it forever.

In a way, Kim Hyukjin could tell that he was being given a second chance to save his mom who died trying to take care of her family, and his sister who got leukemia trying to sponsor his education.

Not only is he transported back in time, but Kim Hyukjin also notices that he has talents as a player – and not only does he just have talents, they are at max level, making him possibly stronger than the best player he knew in the post-apocalyptic future.

In simple terms, he was a rare gem, who had knowledge of the future and also the talent to tackle it. Resolving to survive first, Kim Hyukjin swore to himself to avenge the world by putting the guardians who put them in this mess for fun, in their place.

Part 1: Max Talent Player Character List

Kim Hyukjin

 Max Skillman Networth Kim Hyukjin

Kim Hyukjin is the main male protagonist of Max Talent Player. He’s thirty years, tall, boyishly handsome with distinct features, and is a YouTube nerd. With all these features, Kim Hyukjin considers himself unlucky because he’s from a poor family and because he’s talentless.

Living in a world where dungeons, systems, safe zones, guardians, monsters, and players exist, checking one’s talent used to sorta be a privilege reserved only for the rich, this was why when Kim Hyukjin finally got to check his talent in a talent test, his talents had depleted – in simple terms, they were gone.

This was because he was in his thirties now, and most typical successful players’ careers started in their twenties. With the chance of being a player out of the option, Kim Hyukjin felt devastated that he couldn’t even pass an exam that could help him at least secure a moderate-paying job.

There was a reason behind this – someone was pulling strings to make his life difficult but he didn’t know this.

Another reason why Kim Hyukjin considered himself unlucky aside from being talentless, and unable to pass his exams was that his mom died while struggling to provide for their family. And on top of that, his sister got leukemia because she was working in an electrical company so she could be able to sponsor his education.

Of course, Kim Hyukjin blamed himself for all these problems because he believed things would’ve been different if he was able to help his family in some way aside from being a burden.

Chapter Two

Max Talent Player Kim Hyukjin travels back in time

After receiving his results that he was talentless, just as he expected, Kim Hyukjin went back to studying for his civil servant exams, so that he could at least have a future, only for him to wake up the next day and find out that he had mysteriously traveled ten years back in time and was now in the year, 2018 instead of 2028.

That wasn’t even all his problem, he was sent to the moment right before the apocalypse, that is the period of the mysterious Primordial fog, accompanied by a foul odor that brought in the first and second wave of goblins – deadly green humanoid beasts that dismembered humans for fun.

Although they were a little bit over half the size of an average human, they were much stronger.

This wasn’t the only thing Kim Hyukjin noticed. Somehow his talent as a player had been activated and based on the stats he saw, he was impressively more talented than the most talented player from his time in the future.

He was so gifted that a guardian already had eyes on him at just the tutorial levels. Simply put, this was a big deal for him.

Having ten years of knowledge helped Kim Hyukjin in this scenario, as he was much more prepared to handle any situation including the goblins that attacked his bus, killing everyone but him, thus making him catch the attention of yet another guardian.
