Emilia and her Mommy got kicked out of our apartment in sour souls: the morningstar series book Mommy never tells her anything. She always tells her she is too young. She knows things, Mommy thinks she doesn’t, but she does.
She knows that Mommy has a lot of male visitors. She knows that they take Mommy out to fancy places and, she knows that they come home late, even when they think she is sleeping. She knows that Mommy drinks stuff that smells nasty, and makes her act funny. Mommy thinks that she doesn’t see, but she does, she never gives her the chance to help.
They have been in their new home for almost two weeks, I’ve been counting. Mommy got a job as a waitress in a restaurant. They have good chicken tenders and milkshakes, Mommy says that if things go well by the time school starts, she can finally go to school. So, she has been making sure to be a really good girl, she even started practicing her reading every night. Her Mommy`s boss is a really nice older lady.
Her Mommy says that she has a wolf. She told her that she heard the voice of her wolf when she was a teenager, and then she would shift a couple of years after that. Mommy told her that her wolf was her best friend who never left her. That means, that even when Mommy is gone at night, she will never be alone again and she hates being alone. A crash sounding in the house woke her up, she sat up in her bed and rubbed her eyes, It was still dark out. She got out of bed and walked through the house. Mommy is on the couch mumbling under her breath. There is a pile of cans of that stuff Mommy likes to drink, in front of her, and around the couch. Her Mommy kept groaning, and grumbling, but she didn’t understand what she was saying.
A large man with golden hair grabbed Mommy’s arm. She jumped up in her booth. The man pulled Mommy against him, and they stared at each other. Mate, the man said to her but Mommy just stared at him. She started to punch the man’s leg, but he didn’t move. Maybe if she keeps hitting she will wear him down. So, she kept punching. She wanted him to let go of her mommy. Suddenly, she was lifted in the air. She let out a loud squeal and started thrashing around.
Everyone turned their eyes to Mommy, she waited for her Mommy to tell them all to drop her and go away. Mommy wouldn’t let these big strangers get them in sour souls: the morningstar series book. The man set her down on her feet. They are outside in the parking lot next to a big black car. The back door is open, and she can see two more guys in the front seats.

It’s been almost four years since Mom met her mate in sour souls: the morningstar series book. Dave isn’t mean to her really. Unless she was in trouble for something. Mostly, he and Mom just ignore her. The Blue Water Pack is a beautiful area. It’s large and surrounded by a lush forest. There is a small school near the pack house that she attends. The packed house is the biggest building though. That’s where they live.
They told her that finally, they would have a real Beta heir. At first, she didn’t get what they meant by that, she was not Dave’s daughter, and she knew she wouldn’t be taking over the position, but the way they said it. The other kids told her that day, that she was nothing. She is baggage that came with her mom, and she should feel lucky that Beta Dave didn’t toss her aside the moment he met her mom.
Apparently, it’s not a good thing to have a kid before you meet your mate, she didn’t know that. She wonders if that’s why Mom ignores her now. She tried to be a good daughter. She tried to keep up with her chores. She tried to be as happy for Mom as she could about the new baby.
She thought that if she tried to be more independent Mom would be proud of her. All it did was make her ignore her more. Although, today Mom is letting her come to her ultrasound with her. Dr. Stevens is one of the only nice people here. Most of the other wolves ignore me. Even the adults make comments about me being a bastard child, it was during one of Mom’s early appointments that she asked Dr. Stevens what a bastard child means.
He told her that it is a bad word to describe a child created out of wedlock, she then had to ask what wedlock meant. After asking a few more questions, along with the kids at school, she realized that everyone hated her because she had a dad who was not Dave.

Noah is adorable. He looks like the perfect mix of his dad, and our mom. These last two years have been hard in sour souls: the morningstar series book, Dave wasn’t kidding when he said that she would be taking care of Noah. The only time that Noah and I spend apart is when she goes to school.
She takes Noah to the daycare that is held downstairs in the pack house. Then she rushed off to school. As soon as school is over, she rushes back to pick Noah up. Every day was the same, it was very hard at first, she had no idea how to take care of a baby, Noah would keep her up all night, and she would get in trouble for falling asleep in class the next day.
Now that Noah is getting older, doing homework is getting easier. She still wants to be an ultrasound technician, so, doing well in school is a must. Noah is next in line to take over as Beta. This pack won’t let him go easily. She is confident that she can do it though. She has to, she can’t let Noah stay here, not with how his dad is.
