I love fantasy fiction. I usually read transmigration novels but I rarely encounter transmigration romance stories such as Stunning Poisonous Doctor Princess. I love the premise of this novel. It’s promising. It’s giving me lots of reasons to be excited. I am just hoping that this won’t disappoint me until the end.

Stunning Poisonous Doctor Princess is a story of a very beautiful and strong princess whom almost all were captivated by her beauty. Her intelligence is her power. But then she was placed in an arranged marriage with a guy who doesn’t like her.
The premise of Stunning Poisonous Doctor is intriguing to me, also, given that its genre is the kind that falls my interest, so I am really expecting a lot from this novel. Read this review with me then, and let’s both find out if Stunning Poisonous Doctor will be able to keep its promises.

Part 1: Plot Synopsis of Stunning Poisonous Doctor Princess

Su Qingge is the Stunning Poisonous Doctor. In her past life, she was a student at a medical school of Chinese Medicine. She was the subject of an experiment that was hoped to give a breakthrough to Chinese Medicine.
He was experimented on to be immune to poison by detecting the poison and curing itself in advance. The purpose of the experiment was to enhance her brain’s capability, yet it was a very dangerous experiment that placed her on the verge of death.
While she was losing consciousness, Qingge’s soul transmigrated into another dimension. Into the past. Into an era of the Jin Kingdom. When she wakes up she notices that her soul has merged with another body, thus, as a result, she possesses the memories of the body her soul had occupied.
Now, as she was transmigrated into the Jin Kingdom, she was no longer Su Qingge but she became Lin Mengya.
As Lin Mengya, although she was born into a prominent family, her life was complicated- her stepmother was evil, and she woke up being betrothed to Yu Yufu. Actually marrying Yu Yufu isn’t a problem to her only if he isn’t an idiot.
So, here in Stunning Poisonous Doctor, Qingge is resisting her transmigrated life, and she will do everything she knows she can to overcome her enemies and to have the life she wanted, and her ticket to that is her beauty and intelligence.

Part 2: Analyzing The Main Protagonists of Stunning Poisonous Doctor Princess
Su Qingge Or Lin Mengya
Su Qingge is the Stunning Poisonous Doctor and this novel is actually about her transmigration adventure. I love her personality here in Stunning Poisonous Doctor Princess.
I’m tired of stories where the female lead is a damsel in distress, at least here, good thing, Qingge is a fighter. She’s a fighter in the sense that she does not easily give up on her situation. She always finds a way out, and she’s smart enough to know how she can have an advantage in a conflict.
Plus, her characterization was so interesting. She possesses a special skill that she can use to her advantage so she won’t be easily manipulated by the villains here in Stunning Poisonous Doctor Princess.
I find her stubbornness funny. She’s stubborn and prideful. Sometimes her reactions to certain things are funny, and because of her too much self-confidence, she even regarded Yufu as an idiot.
The bottom line is The Stunning Poisonous Doctor Princess isn’t the kind who can be easily conquered, and that includes her heart. I must say that this kind of character-building is really amazing.
Long Tianyu
He is a prince and he’s one of those guys who attempted to have a contract marriage with the Stunning Poisonous Doctor Princess. Long Tianyu knew Ling Mengya as someone who’s ugly and reluctant to marry.
Yet when Mengya entered their wedding chamber he was surprised by her beauty, and when they began to talk, he was amazed even more by her intelligence.
So, it turns out that Tianyu needs to be detoxified from a certain poison. Mengya got the knowledge, but it was Tainyu who got the herbs needed for the treatment. More likely their marriage appears more than just a contract but they actually need each other.
‘Therefore, here in Stunning Poisonous Doctor Princess’we have protagonists who both have unyielding and strong personalities. I can sense a love-and-hate relationship between Mengya and Tianyu.

Part 3: Plot Review of Stunning Poisonous Doctor Princess
Stunning Poisonous Doctor Princess is interesting. Every chapter is not boring. I think the charm of this novel lies in the female herself. She’s amazing that every time she’s unleashing her doctor character the scene just gets more interesting. I must commend the author for really being knowledgeable about Chinese Medicine, thus, making Mengya’s character alive.
I love the medical adventures here, the synchronization of the events. It was like there was a new adventure in every chapter, this is why you won’t get bored reading Stunning Poisonous Doctor Princess.
Although the romance part of this novel was not much highlighted, that was fine with me. The Stunning Poisonous Doctor Princess herself was already enough to make the plot sustainable. All in all, yeah, I’m a fan of strong female leads so I love this book, and I will definitely recommend this.
