Part 1: Plot Summary of The Denver Alpha
The story revolves around Alpha Cole—the not-so-mysterious yet ridiculously powerful alpha of Denver. He runs the pack in Denver that don’t hide from the public attention. They nestled inside the human territory which was pretty unusual for a pack of werewolves. Majority of the shifters population lived on the outskirts and any human interaction is forbidden and widely considered as unusual and dangerous. Cole’s pack is an exception, though. His influence and money extends over the government on Denver, making it easier and safer to live in the dome of creatures far inferior than them.
Each of the privileges that Cole and the pack possesses are all because of his father’s brilliance and hardwork. Cole isn’t so shallow not to make the most out of that. He spent his entire childhood, and teenage years, processing, and planning how to make his father’s investment pay off. Because of how committed he is, he learned not to let his emotions rule his mind. He became robotic, devoid of emotion, and cold and ruthless like the violent sea. He had no time to search for his mate, and as result, he turned thirty without seeing a better prospect for the title of the Denver’s luna.
Until Juliet’s came, and the wind began to chance. From the moment he saw her, he knew that girl will likely bring troubles. From the way she acted, and carried herself, Cole suspected Juliet is not of the girls that he had met before.
And he’s not wrong. Ever since the day she came, Cole has experienced nothing but pure headache and confusion. Due to Juliet’s eccentric behavior and principles that just don’t align with what shaped him as an adult. For someone who’s way younger, Juliet behaved like they were born the same year. Her wittiness is just undefeatable. She always know how to kill a conversation and how to properly respond to an insult.
But the field where she lacks the most is anything that concerns sexual which, fortunately, is Cole’s favorite playground and where he can easily gain the upperhand. Juliet’s ignorance, and Cole’s expertise on it opened up the possibility of them, getting in a relationship in the future.
That possibility ended up being a reality when Juliet and Cole’s affection began to correlate. Though they were off to a rocky start, Juliet and Cole eventually figured out how to make their connection work. As they enrich themselves with each other’s love, Cole’s unheard past, and violent enemies began to slither in their lives, dropping bombs of obstacles that almost ruined their relationship, and almost compromised the pack’s safety.
But what threatened their companionship to a degree close to destruction is Cole’s cold heartedness and deep wounds that he got from the past. Too fragile, and too inexperienced to handle ruthless situation, Juliet almost gave up. Glad she didn’t because what happened in the end was worth of every sacrifice, every drop of tears that she shed, and every hesitation that she fought.
Like almost every romance book, The Denver Alpha concluded with them, marrying off and living happily ever after.
Part 2: Introductory Chapters of The Denver Alpha
Chapter 1
The chapter opens with Cole, ruminating through a case of a burned building. He examined the facts that he gathered so far in his head, scrolling through some solutions and testing if they could work. Whilst he’s busy doing that, his beta walks in, Sam, and informed him that Jax, his friend and also an alpha of a nearby pack, has arrived with his sister. Cole immediately stopped the woman kneeling in front of him and exited out of his office to meet them.
What he didn’t expect, though, is he’ll be shocked with how Jax’s sister would affect him. He pictured her as a kid who’s in dire need of guidance, not a woman who looks like she could bring an entire world to her knees. Denying the affection and desire that shot through his system, he ignored and went on to his days. But the image of her devilish smile, and innocent face kept coming back, though.
Chapter 2
Juliet’s new adventure had begun. The Denver pack is quite accomodating. She’s been given a nice room, an access to the pool, and a warm welcome by the whole pack. Her brother’s fiance talked to her about what she might expect in the pack. Juliet casually brought up Cole, and she didn’t expect she’d receive a warning from mentioning his name. Is he really that mysterious and cruel as they say that even the idea of sleeping with him is forbidden?
The welcome party started, and Juliet, being slightly unsociable and sheltered, backed away from the crowd for a while to take a deep breath. Just as she recollect herself, and rest outside of the party, she’s greeted by Tobias, who like other shifters that he met looks at her with unnamed desire. She found him interesting, though.
Part 3: Evaluation and a Similar Book on Dreame
The Denver Alpha is one of the most stable, consistent and smooth reading that I received. It’s short, concise, and naturally compacted. I didn’t encounter any problems, nor was I struck with boredom as I read through it. Every chapter is a bomb, and significant. It didn’t fail to submit to the premise, and the entirety of the plot.
The characters were lively, and distinctive, making it easier for the readers to get attached with them. As per the book’s genre, it has the right amount of erotica and sensuality. For anyone who ventures along those lines, The Denver Alpha romance book is a great choice. It’s fun, exciting, and very convenient to read.
