Part 1: Main Characters of The Predator

Ivy Elsher

The Predator Ivy

Ivy Elsher is the main protagonist of The Predator. She’s months away from turning eighteen, yet she has witnessed every horrible thing an adult couldn’t even properly endure.

She was young when her father died at the hands of devilish hunters. Belonging to a family of rogues, peace was never a thing for Ivy. Ten years ago, his pack banished him, framed him, and defamed him as a traitor, causing them to start living as rogues.

No one wants to take in a family of traitors. Although packs have been considerate and soft in the past, none have been able to withstand the responsibility and burden of caring for such problems. As a result, Ivy and her parents began living as nomads.

It took them years before Ivy and her mother successfully found the proper sanctuary to start over. They were rescued by the kindest, most considerate pack ever. However, they faded entirely into the background as quickly as they came.

The resources weren’t just enough to sustain a whole crowd of rogues. They had no choice but to seek another shelter. Then fate began working its nasty games again, with Ivy becoming a hopeless victim.

Just as she feared encountering the famous Alpha Cassian, opportunities allowed them to meet. Dark Wood ended up becoming their permanent home. Getting unwelcomed was expected. But to be humiliated for her past and her father’s alleged sins wasn’t something she could tolerate.

She wanted to leave, but how could she when her mother was getting hopeless, and she had just discovered that Alpha Cassian was her fated mate and she was his second-chance mate?

Ivy is resilient, empowering, and a formidable warrior. Immediately, she knew how to approach the problems that arose properly. Independently and vigorously.

She’s the type of heroine that you won’t get tired to look out for and keep an eye on. You’d want to see her journey until the end.

Alpha Cassian

The Predator Alpha Cassian

Alpha Cassian is the male protagonist of The Predator, the main love interest, and the most alluring character because of the mystery surrounding his past and background.

He’s named The Predator for his relentless hunt for rogues. He tortured them, humiliated them, and chased them ’till the ends of hell. All for reasons that no one was able to decipher correctly. His resentment is deep-rooted, going all the way for years and circumstances.

He’s mysterious, brooding, and extremely dominating. His horrendous experiences had made him apathetic and uninterested in people’s feelings. He doesn’t care if he hurts any innocent rogues as long as his agenda is fulfilled and his feelings are satisfied.

When he met Ivy, everything became paradoxical. How come fate knows how to turn things around? Is Ivy the redemption he’s been waiting for? Why would he need it when he’s got everything under control?

Will he still accept Ivy despite the differences in their world and his distaste for her kind? Can he set aside his personal feelings and acknowledge the mate bond as for what it is?

The Predator Chapter 1

The Predator Novel

In Chapter 1 of The Predator, Ivy is interrogated by the Luna and Alpha of the Shadow Pack. It’s the first time a pack has been kind, and Ivy is unsure how to react appropriately.

As politely as possible, she answers their questions wholeheartedly, leaving some parts to avoid any necessary judgment. Thankfully, the Luna wasn’t as cruel as she thought. With her word, the Alpha immediately ordered his men to assist Ivy and her mother. Give them proper clothes and enough food.

Ivy loosened up a bit, thinking it would be their permanent home.

The Predator Chapter 3

The Predator Mooncake

In Chapter 3 of The Predator, it’s been settled that the rogues’ new home will be in the Dark Wood pack. The resources weren’t enough to sustain them for so long. And so, they did their best to convince Alpha Cassian to take them in.

They asked if anyone would want to volunteer. Seeing no one had attempted yet, Ivy raised her hand. Pleased and relieved, Luna Evelyn wondered if others wanted to join them. Some became brave enough to follow suit. At the same time, others could not muster up the courage to meet the devil.

Luna Evelyn then assured them she and the Alpha wouldn’t let any harm come to them. Despite the risk, Ivy and the other rogues accepted her promises.

Within the same day, they were transported to Dark Wood. Ivy was initially optimistic, but upon seeing what Alpha Cassia is like in real life, she began to question if she even did the right thing.

The Predator Chapter 5

The Predator Dreame

Jumping to Chapter 5 of The Predator, Ivy finally has the chance to converse with her mother, who’s been quite unresponsive ever since they moved. They have a heart-wrenching conversation about her father, which her mother can’t stand hearing.

Her words were those of someone who’d vanish eventually. Ivy did not like the tone of her voice or even the cryptic message behind her words. Ivy assured her that everything would be fine from now on. She didn’t have to worry about anything; she’d try her best to keep them safe. No one would be left behind. They’ll sort everything out together.

At the end of the chapter, an incident at the stairs caused Ivy to see Alpha Cassian eye to eye. She was about to fall when he gracefully caught her waist. Her heart immediately pounded, shocked at the sudden closeness.

They had a little banter, and Ivy couldn’t help but feel like she was a new prey.
