There are many different werewolf-related depictions in literature, film, and television. Despite this, a significant portion of the plot revolves around humans transforming into monsters and regaining their human selves.

In a novel, however, since supernatural elements are always there, readers are always inquisitive about the identity of the God who created them. This Luna of the Manae book review discusses how reincarnation and the merging of a goddess and a werewolf occurred.

Part 1: A Glimpse of the Storyline of Luna of the Manae

Luna of the Manae Goddess

Bronx, the Alpha of the Black Moon Pack, has a goddess and werewolf mate named Kas. Since Kas is a direct descendant of a moon goddess, it wasn’t a typical historical occurrence in their world.

At first, they are pleased, but because the Bronx is accusing a thing she never did, their connection ultimately leads to a quarrel between them. After his sister Leronas’s death, Bronx changed from a lovely alpha to a monster one.

He used to lock Kas up in the dungeon until she became unable to handle it any longer and died. Because of her divine status, she was reborn as the moon goddess and given the gift of eternal solace to live with her children. She was agitated and severely hurt when she woke up, but she could cope. What matters is that she will be with her children and is alive once more.

Even though the Bronx broke their mate bond, Kas, the luna of the Manae still holds the Black Moon Pack’s Luna in high regard. Since then, she has made every effort to keep her kids away from the Bronx. They relocated to a new home.

Luckily, Bronx stopped pestering her when the man learned that she had given birth to their child. Kas was so furious that she wouldn’t even allow him to touch her children. During her recovery, his friend Milo told him the devastating news that she could not have children. It was when before Leronas death. She was perplexed by that statement because she had just given birth to gorgeous twins.

She realizes that before the Bronx treated her like trash, she had gone to Mount Olympus and defeated Zeus and used magic which cause Leronas death. She wondered if that had anything to do with what had happened to her at the moment. She was also falsely accused of being a traitor by the Bronx. After making the charge, Bronx took her to the dungeon, leaving her to suffer.

It would be an understatement to say that the Bronx was angry. As soon as Kas killed his sister Lerona, Bronx was utterly distraught. Anyway, that’s what he thought. However, Kas’s primary goal is to protect her sister and doesn’t mean to harm Lerona.

Because the Bronx was furious, he took her to the dungeon without checking on him the following days as it turned to months. Kas was a traitor in his eyes. However, when he found Kas had passed away, his melancholy became sorrowful. The Bronx didn’t intend for it to occur. His devastation adds up when he learns that Kas is pregnant with his pups.

But because Kas is a goddess, the moon goddess gave Kas another life which Bronx was thankful for. But he knew the moment Kas woke up again, everything would never be the same, even if truths woke up his senses about who Kas was.

Part 2: The Main Characters of Luna of the Manae

Kas

Luna of the Manae Kas

She’s the Luna of the Manae and Black Moon Pack. Her character is a selfless sister who will do anything for her sisters’ safety. However, her protectiveness harmed others, which caused Lerona’s death, Bronx’s sister. But she didn’t mean it. After that, Bronx accused Kas of being a traitor which caused her a great deal of emotional distress.

She was put to death by the Bronx when he locked her in the dungeon in Luna of the Manage. The Bronx never visited her and was reincarnated after her death.

Despite her fear, Kas still loves the Bronx despite what he has done. In this story, Kas is responsible for the Bronx being hurt in some way. This is not only because Bronx’s sister was a victim of the incident but also because Kas did not consider the possibility that she could hurt her mate.

Bronx

Luna of the Manae Alpha Bronx

The Bronx is an alpha who loves Kas but thinks his Luna of the Manae, Kas has deceived him. The Bronx felt betrayed. Kas always prioritizes her sister over him, which is fine as long as she is happy.

But Lerona, his sister being a victim of selfishness, is a different story. He was under the impression that Kas was betraying the pack somehow because of her impulsiveness in making decisions that caused his sister’s death. Because of his excessive fury, he forgot that Kas might starve to death while he was assumed to be safe in the dungeon for days. The Bronx didn’t intend to hurt his partner. Although he was extremely grateful that Kas was given a second chance at life, he was aware that nothing would ever be the same again. Secrets will gradually come to light along with his new life with the reincarnated Kas, and reality will show him the potential power of Kas as the goddess Luna of the Manage.

Part 3: Evaluation of Luna of the Manae

Luna of the Manae Mate

Without the fantasy element, this story would take place in reality. The Bronx was certainly not Kas’ first top priority. Her sisters usually came before him. The Bronx did okay at first, but patience wasn’t created to last forever. Blood may be thicker than water, but marriage is thicker than blood because they are already one. Kas failed in that area.

Bronx used to hide his insecurities so long as Kas was pleased, which caused him to become enraged and blinded by rage when his sister died. As a result, Kas’s love for the Bronx was replaced by fear and Bronx, by wrath, which eventually led to Kas’s death. This Luna of Manae story should serve as a reminder to always be considerate of your partner’s feelings, especially if you’re married.

On the fantasy side, even if there are multiple different characters, in this fantasy tale, characters are presented in a manner that does justice to their personalities. Plus, many Greek mythology terms made me in awe.

It was brain-wracking but exciting to read because the story has a different definition. It was listed as a series in the author’s note. Given that some of the scenes are too fuzzy to be understood, it may be preferable to read them before continuing. If you enjoy fantasy-romance books, you should read Luna of the Manage.
