She recognizes the room as being the background of the book. Rofan tries to wake up but can’t and, when looking in the mirror, she realizes that she has become Robelia, her favorite, sad character.

Rofan, now Robelia interrogates the maids to learn exactly in which part of the novel she was transposed exactly and she figures that she is right in the beginning. Her husband, Alexander, had just gotten married to his second wife and queen, Aisha and was about to fall in love with her.

Alexander denies breaking up with the one who has fulfilled her duty as empress so well. He promises to be more considerate with her and even gives her permission to do anything she wants.

Will Rofan, as Robelia, achieve her goal and free her favorite leading character? Will Alexander finally fall for his empress? Read I’m Divorcing My tyrant Husband novel to embark in the wonderful journey of Robelia and Alexander.

Part 2: The Main Characters of I’m Divorcing My Tyrant Husband

The author has created and rounded perfect characters for the book. Their evolution throughout the narrative is incredible. The interactions between them are very well portrayed and the dialogues help you understand the plot even better. We have a leading polygamous character, torn between two beautiful wives.

I'm Divorcing My tyrant Husband Aisha

Robelia

She is definitely the leading lady of the narrative. In the original story, Robelia was despised by her husband, who decided that he loved Aisha, and no longer needed her. He dies alone, in a cold castle, with immense sorrow in her heart.

The tragic fate of Robelia is changed when Rofan takes over her character. Her lack of feelings for Alexander will give her power and courage to finally leave her abusive husband. After being denied the divorce, the leading lady of the novel, will make up a plan to have the emperor let her go.

She begins to live a lavish life, adorning the Imperial Palace, and even moving there, invading the private space of Aisha, the emperor’s queen. When Alexander tries to scold her for doing so, he loses the argument against Robelia. She had gotten free pass to do whatever she wanted in exchange for letting go of the divorce.

Further on, she buys expensive dresses and even lets go of her imperial duties, all in hope that Alexander will finally divorce her. Unwillingly, seeing how the emperor’s attitude changed towards her, she develops feelings for him, making her second guess her own decisions.

Alexander Grandia Kshayarsha Le Castilla

Alexander is a handsome leading character. He has a solid body, wide shoulders, dark hair and brown skin and is a true ruler to his people. In the original book, he disregards Robelia, only marrying her to borrow the power of the Duchess of Blanchett.

He never listened to her pleads, even though she has proved her love for him over and over. Alexander is smitten by Aisha and casts aside Robelia with no remorse. When Rofan takes over, things change completely. Her lack of care for Alexander and her willing to get a divorce will have him go mad.

He falls in love with his Empress and does everything in his power to get closer to her. The more she rejects him, the more attracted he feels.

Aisha

Aisha is the emperor’s new queen. In the first story, Alexander falls madly in love with her, making him inconsiderate towards his first empress, Robelia. She is seen as a sweet, innocent character, who lives her life with the emperor until the end.

It is interesting how things change once Rofan gets in the picture as Robelia. Aisha’s true colors come into picture. She is not as pure as everyone thought. She will fight to become Alexander’s main empress, mother of all people.

She will even be allowed by Robelia to take over the empress’s duties, but fails miserably. This will only make Alexander learn about Robelia’s importance in the court even more.

Part 3: I’m Divorcing My Tyrant Husband Book Review

I'm Divorcing My tyrant Husband Alexander

This fantasy romance novel is definitely a decent reading. It’s entertaining and you get to experience the storyline from a villain’s perspective for once. Or, at least, a wannabe villain.

I believe that this narrative is an epitome of the cathartic experience. We often find ourselves wanting to be the characters we read about and experience their lives for once and Rofan does that for us. She has the chance to become her favorite leading lady and change her tragic end.

It remains to be seen whether the end will culminate with the most-wanted divorce or with a blooming relationship with Alexander.

If you decide to carry on reading the book, I advise you to be patient. This is an anime story with a not-so-good translation. The author herself admits that she hasn’t done a great job with the translation but, you can easily understand the plot.

If I were to rate the story, I would give it four out of five stars, and that is just because the translation could have been better. The narrative and the characters deserve all five stars, for sure. They are simply amazing and worthy of reading!
