When it comes to risk-taking adventure novels, we can all agree they’re fun and engaging. The suspense, the thrill, and the quest will pump you up with adrenaline and excitement as you join the leading characters in their life-changing journey.

In Raga Of The Dry Branch, I must say I enjoyed that everything began with a dream. The demi-gods visit our main character, prompting him to live his life in order for them to live as well. This arrangement they make will leave our male lead character-rich, happy, and lucky. With all the odds in his favor now, what can he accomplish?

Turning your life around is no easy thing, especially if your childhood comes with awful baggage. Mom dying, dad marrying your aunt, gender change at birth, all these things can make one depressed, anxious, maybe even bitter. But once you receive your one and only chance at a happy life, you might want to grab it, no matter what.

If you’re into God-meddling novels, filled with adventure, I recommend you to read Apocalypse Of The Gods, on Dreame. The heroine is fearless, mighty, and ruthless.

Part 1: Main Story Of Raga Of The Dry Branch

Raga Of The Dry Branch Story

The story begins with a dream. Five short films invade the dreams of our leading character. He was born a girl but was raised like a boy. And when his mother died, his father brought into the house his sister-in-law and her daughter and treated them like the ladies of the house.

The first dream revolved around Heliciad, a six years old girl. The protagonist of the second one was a beautiful man with bright blonde hair and red lips, a captain maybe. The third presented an old man who looked like a pope of a church.

The fourth showed a beautiful woman, with silver hair, and pink lips, who looked very elegant. And the last one revolved around a man wearing a black robe.

Waking up, he realizes he has no reason to keep living, so he wishes to die. He disguises a plan to donate all his money and valuables and afterward proceeds with his plan. The man’s first thought is to take a lot of drugs, he just needs the right time and place to take action.

To his surprise, the main characters from his dreams visit him later and admit they had sent him cake and wine earlier to be delivered to his room. They begin a negotiation with the man, trying to convince him to keep on living his life. In return, they will make sure he will have a happy, fulfilled existence.

The five demi gods are quite persuasive, but can they really convince our hero to live for them?

A second chance at life, a better life even, sounds amazing. Who could turn down such an amazing offer? When Gods meddle in people’s lives, you know that something great is about to happen.

Raga Of The Dry Branch Magic

Raga Of The Dry Branch Chapter 16

A fresh start, but there is something weird here (1)

A young woman, who was supposed to get married soon, grabbed her younger sister, who was walking behind her. She was happy, even though the strong smell of antiseptic stung her nose. She felt drawn to that place, but she didn’t know why.

The woman was about to get married to a man whose family was strict, so this could be her last chance to be cheerful and free-spirited. This is why the little girl held back and didn’t show her fear as they stepped into the basement.

Lil, the girl, thought she saw a monster and tried to hold back a scream, but her sister caught her act and hugged her, reassuring her that all the monsters are fake. Soon enough, loud noises pierced their ears and huge, red letters appeared on the wall. They simply said ‘save me’. The young woman knew they were fake but she still couldn’t hold back fear.

Raga Of The Dry Branch Chapter 17

A fresh start, but there is something weird here (2)

There was darkness in the room so the two girls could barely see in front of them. They noticed a black form that approached them. It looked human. Everything went pitch black afterward.

Again, the rattle-rattle sound could be heard. A middle-aged man welcomed the young boy, the hero of the story, into the building. This was his first job and the man hoped that the boy was a fast learner.

Even though there were people in the building who couldn’t hide their preference for hiring experienced middle-aged men, the boy still got the job. You young man meets Shun, a knight-class character, who can teach him everything he knows.

Even though it was the first time the boy met the man, his presence made him feel cringy, and his eyes looked dazzling. A long black-haired beauty came along and introduced herself as Ilina MaBaleham. She was a 4thlevel wizard who dealt with healing and water.

Ilina was amazing considering the fact that there were only 9 levels for a wizard and she was already a level 4. Besides being a genius, she was also drop-dead gorgeous and ruthless.
