I don’t usually do blind-picking when it comes to books but this one took me by surprise. My sheer emotions were mixed as soon as I flipped through the pages. Most of us believe that once love is gone, the marriage will eventually end.
But in Amelia and Oscar’s case, the setup was different. They still loved each other yet they were not able to show it, thinking that it would not be reciprocated the way they both wanted.
Honestly, it is not a picture-perfect relationship at first. Oscar just married Amelia to be a substitute for his first love who got away. And because she loves him, she decided to say yes. But it was not what he knew about her, all he believed in was Amelia did agree to marry due to the money that she could get.

Part 1: Hot Chapters Of Too Much to Bear, My Love
Oscar’s heartbreak and how his runaway bride, Cassie left him was shown in Too Much To Bear, My Love Chapter 1. And for him to move on, he searched for a woman who looked like his ex and became his wife. Well, it was Amelia the one he paid in exchange for the favor.
However, five years had passed, and Cassie went back to the picture. She wanted to get Oscar back, urging Amelia to divorce him. Although there was love in Amelia’s heart, she could not force herself to stay because she thought that he still loved that woman.
The great chemistry and compatibility between Amelia and Oscar were evident in mysterious ways. Yet, it was time for them to end everything between them.
In Too Much To Bear, My Love Chapter 301, Amelia was with Tiffany and her son, Tony. They went to Derrick’s grandiose mansion to stay there. She warned Derrick not to fool Tiffany because she already knew the feeling of being used.
And right at that time, Amelia escaped the city which made Oscar so worried and looked for her whereabouts. Now that they already had a child, it was so hard for him to be far away from them.
The exciting events went on. Based on Too Much To Bear, My Love Chapter 341, Oscar was still searching for Amelia and Tony. He was no longer the same anymore and found it hard to sleep at night. Then he had a nightmare about Amelia who was in a hospital bed.
Little did he know, it was the real thing that happened to her. She underwent brain surgery and was taken care of by Kurt, the man who was secretly in love with her.
Derrick was already Tiffany’s wife in Too Much To Bear My Love Chapter 711. They were already married a few months ago. However, a terrible thing happened. Crystal, his ex, forcibly asked him to join her for dinner, and because he could not say no he agreed. But later on, Amelia saw their picture together causing her to accuse him of being behind Tiffany’s problematic figure.
Part 2: Notable Characters of Too Much to Bear, My Love
Amelia Winters is the female lead of the story. A tough and independent woman who went through a lot. Stereotypically, people knew her to be a woman who worshipped money. She was labeled that way after she married Oscar.
Yet, Amelia was more than that. She did everything just to make her marriage work although it was just a transactional relationship. Being his wife, she was getting all the riches she could have until she had to sign the divorce papers. In the later chapters, Amelia also became a loving mother to Tony.
Then there was her leading man named Oscar Clinton, a rich man who owns a prestigious company. But also, a playboy who thought that he could get all the pleasure he wanted in exchange for his money. Right before that, he was dumped by his first love, Cassie, and even became a brideless groom on the day of their wedding.
He was sad about what happened and found Amelia the right substitute for Cassie because of their identical looks. Aside from that, he also had a certain reason why he chose her as a wife. Amelia was the only one who could satisfy him in bed. As he began to play with fire, he eventually developed deep feelings for her, much more so when Tony came into their lives.
Part 3: Breathlessly Stunning Storyline Of Too Much to Bear, My Love
As I reached the last pages, I felt overwhelmed and emotional all at once. A not-so-perfect marriage like what Amelia and Oscar turned magically heartfelt and it is surprising how their relationship survived all the unforeseen odds. The author managed to leave a coherent aftermath in the reader’s heart, making me commend the storytelling technique in each chapter.
From their unspoken love and affection for each other, up to being a couple for real, the long chapters no longer mattered as long as I got the right ending. All in all, Too Much To Bear, My Love is indeed one of my favorites. There was a smile behind the tears in my eyes, making me believe that true love exists.
